As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be responsible for creating, driving, and implementing research plans to discover actionable insights for creating the user experience for web-based applications and mobile devices. You will deliver the right user insights at the right time, helping project team to create digital products that are good for users and good for business. You will use your deep understanding of the methods and best practices of user research to experiment with mixed methods research to generate unique user insights and drive product innovation. You will mentor junior team mates to deliver high-quality outputs while working effectively on managing stakeholders, overlapping projects, and competing priorities. Responsibilities: • Drive ideas to improve products and services through research-driven insights and recommendations. • Independently design and execute research studies with effective research methods (e.g., desk research, interviews, focus groups, usability testing, surveys, competitive analysis, etc.), representative participant profiles, and efficient recruiting strategies. • Proactively review and perform data analysis to extract insights and actionable recommendations from qualitative or quantitative data, and collaborate with teams to translate insights into product and business impact. • Present your work at research critique sessions to collect constructive feedback from the team and leadership. • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout the research, design, and product development processes. • Organize post-mortem reviews of your projects with collaborating teams, reflect on outcomes, and proactively suggest improvements. • Through knowledge sharing, leading by example, and constant learning, contribute to the team’s professional growth and development. • Constantly learn and implement AI in the workflow to enhance research efficiency, and proactively identify and suggest new tools for the team. • Effectively identify and implement new ways to conduct research, grow the team’s influence, and create impact.
Team and Role Introduction As part of the Group User and Platform Operation Center, the candidate serves as a strategic partner and advisor to the user and platform ops leadership team, ensuring that operational initiatives align with the company's goals. The scope will involve managing cross-functional projects, streamlining processes, and facilitating communication between departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities: • Strategic Planning: assist in the development and execution of group user and platform product and operations strategy, aligning it with overall company objectives. Partner with respective functional leaders to design, execute and track department-wise OKRs to ensure seamless execution • Project management: assist in the planning and management of cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and align with business objectives. Support the development of project plans and status reports for ongoing initiatives. Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders while collaborating with team members to drive project success. • Operational Excellence: identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency across User and Platform Ops functions. Collaborate with functional leaders to implement best practices and streamline workflows • Communication and Collaboration: act as a liaison between User and Platform Operation Center and other departments to ensure alignment and address any operational challenges. The Assortment, Content & Ads Governance Team (ACAG team) is part of the Lazada’s Risk and Security, and it is charged with the mission of developing a comprehensive strategy for Lazada with regards to assortment, so as to foster a healthy and safe e-commerce environment for our users. The role is responsible for developing and implementing proactive strategies and operational processes to protect users from Assortment and Content related risks (Prohibited and Controlled Goods, IP infringement products, hate speech etc). You will have access to analytical tools to develop and implement strategies and solutions using data driven methodologies to mitigate the risks associated with platform assortment and content. Responsibilities: - Develop a deep understanding of the eCommerce customer and seller journey, including registration and onboarding, product listing, order placement, payment, user interactions, returns and refunds, user reports and feedback, etc. - Develop subject matter expertise on eCommerce platform operation and governance, where rules, strategies, and enforcements are effectively established to ensure users are compliant with platform policies. - Lead cross-functional efforts to enhance platform policies and operational mechanisms, fostering a collaborative environment to support ongoing strategy refinement. - Work with large data sets to analyze patterns, trends, and modus operandi of platform operation and governance issues (as well as merchants who perpetrate these issues). - Make data-driven recommendations on prioritization of controls for platform governance and product compliance. - Collaborate with PD, Tech, and Algo counterparts to build machine learning models and rules to detect assortment and user related operation and governance issues on the platform. - Operate the risk engine, including the creation and continuous evaluation of rules to prevent and detect platform operation and governance issues. - Capture and communicate findings with internal and external stakeholders through dashboards, periodic reports, and presentations.
