The Mission We are looking for a Market Strategy Consultants to serve as the local architects of our global expansion. You will help to deconstruct complex regional markets and build the strategic foundation for our product’s entry and growth. You will be the "boots on the ground" and the strategic mind that ensures our global vision translates into local success. What You’ll Do Strategic Intelligence: Deliver deep-dive market insights, competitor benchmarking, and product-gap analyses for your target region. Local Lens: Provide a native "on-the-ground" perspective to navigate cultural nuances, regulatory landscapes, and local consumer psyche. ● Monitor and analyze both payment and financial service performance metrics to ensure optimal outcomes, identify potential risks. ● Drive execution of strategic initiatives across payment service, embeded Insurance and digital credit, with critical insights and connectivity, working closely with internal teams across Alibaba International and Ant International. Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of strategic partnership program projects aligned with organizational goals. ● Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis and collective feedbacks. ● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape in the global e-commerce industry, especially in the financial service area. Key Responsibilities: Seller Acquisition & Recruitment: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify, target, and recruit high-potential Korean brands and sellers across various categories (e.g., beauty, fashion, FMCG, electronics). End-to-End Onboarding: Manage the entire onboarding process, from initial pitch and negotiation to contract signing and guiding sellers through their first successful listing on Lazada. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at Korean brands. Serve as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Quality Control: Curate and vet potential brands to ensure they meet LZD's quality, authenticity, and brand reputation standards. Market Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the Korean e-commerce landscape, competitor strategies, and consumer trends to inform recruitment strategy. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and logistics teams to provide a seamless experience for new sellers and address any operational challenges. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as number of new sellers activated, initial GMV contribution, and sell-out performance.
