Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. • 2+ years of software engineering experience in designing, developing, testing and maintaining production-quality software. • 2+ years’ experience in using development technologies such as C++/C# to build applications or device drivers for Windows. • Excellent technical design and troubleshooting skills in Windows development or device driver development. • Fluent English communication skill. Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications: • Self-motivated, proactive, agile, can-do attitude, and result oriented • Solid problem-solving skills and a growth mindset with a willingness to learn and mentor others • Experience working in agile teams with short and iterative release cycles • Expertise in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions • Expertise in device driver development, and debugging on Windows • Expertise with remote desktop protocols such as Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), Independent Computing Architecture protocol (ICA) and Remote Framebuffer protocol (RFB) • Expertise on Security is a plus Experience with Azure Cloud and ADO (Azure DevOps) pipeline is preferred but not required. As a Software Engineer II, you will have the opportunity to work on and contribute to Windows App experiences on Windows including the native UX, the extensive device redirection, and the input solutions which are fundamental to ensuring that local peripherals (mouse, keyboard, pen, audio, video, USB, etc.) are able to interact with and be controlled seamlessly from a remote session. In addition, you will be part of a diverse, fast-growing, and agile team working with motivated and passionate engineers and product managers. You will be responsible for: • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to address complex technical challenges in delivering seamless, secure, and high-performance remote desktop experiences on Windows. • Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC) - from architecture and implementation to deployment and Live Site operations - with end-to-end accountability for service quality. • Design and develop Windows App experiences on Windows with the native UX, the device redirection, and the input remoting solutions which ensure that local peripherals can interact with and be controlled seamlessly from a remote session. • Design and implement new Windows 365 Cloud PC and Azure Virtual Desktop features with a special focus on seamless integration with OS platform capabilities. • Work across organizations, collaborating with internal partner teams such as Microsoft 365, Windows, Microsoft Teams, and others. • Uphold high standards throughout the entire engineering cycle, from requirement analysis to production live service response, by incorporating innovative mechanisms and practices. • Tackle the most challenging technical problems within your team’s scope, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

The Carrier Engineering Account Manager will work together with a team of highly skilled test engineers and developers based in China and abroad, is in charge of taking Apple cellular products through technical approvals with wireless carriers. You are responsible for introductions and trials of new wireless technologies and network-impacting features in Apple products, and work with carriers on the verification of fixes in new iOS software builds, prototype hardware or network changes.
