Responsibilities• Work with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals. • Contribute to the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for product areas, with minimal oversight. • Contribute to the development and integration of AI-native features and solutions, leveraging AI and automation to enhance system intelligence, scalability, and user experience. • Create and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing code where applicable to drive efficiency and consistency. • Break down larger work items into smaller, manageable tasks and provide accurate estimations for completion. • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), participating in on-call rotations to monitor system, product features, or services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, and gain approval to restore services for simple problems. • Remain current in technical skills by investing time and effort into learning new developments that improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.
• Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders and partners to determine user and system requirements for simplifying directory scenarios; translate scenarios into clear engineering plans. • Drive dependency mapping and author design documents for services, application programming interfaces (APIs), and data contracts that modernize directory architecture. • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in a rotating on‑call; monitor service health, respond to incidents, and lead restoration for complex issues. • Leverage AI and automation to elevate availability, reliability, observability, and efficiency; proactively adopt new patterns and technologies. • Partner with product manager (PM) and cross‑discipline stakeholders to plan releases and manage work items that deliver measurable modernization outcomes.
• Designing and implementing Windows Cloud Experience features that enhance Windows 365 product, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. • Driving innovation across the stack, including areas such as front-end UX and back-end services, Graph API, authentication, telemetry, and data analytics. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and design to deliver end-to-end scenarios that meet customer needs. • Executing the full software development lifecycle from architecture and implementation to deployment and live service operations—with accountability for service quality and resilience. • Engaging with internal stakeholders and customers to gather feedback, address technical challenges, and continuously improve Windows 365 product experience. • Participating in engineering excellence initiatives, including code reviews, architecture discussions, and process improvements. • Upholding high standards of craftsmanship, ensuring that solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned with security and compliance principles such as Zero Trust. • Solving complex technical problems and contributing to a culture of curiosity, agility, and continuous learning.
