OverviewMicrosoft 365 IC3 Data Platform is building governed data infrastructure for large-scale communication and collaboration scenarios. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in China to build a compliant Flink-based streaming processing platform on container technology, provide self-service experiences with agent assistance, and deliver key streaming scenarios on that foundation.

We are building a compliant Flink-based streaming processing platform on container infrastructure, with self-service and agent-assisted experiences that help teams onboard, govern, and operate streaming workloads. We will also dogfood the platform by building key streaming scenarios ourselves, including distributed tracing pipelines, near-real-time operational analytics, telemetry enrichment, and other high-value Microsoft 365 data workflows.

Responsibilities• Design, build, and operate a compliant Flink streaming platform on Kubernetes, Cosmic, Azure, or comparable container infrastructure.


• Develop Flink processing scenarios on top of the platform, with focus areas such as distributed tracing, operational telemetry, and near-real-time data transformation.


• Build platform primitives for Flink job lifecycle management, state, checkpointing, connectors, fault tolerance, scalability, cost efficiency, and multi-tenant operation.
