OverviewWindows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop delivers Cloud PCs to millions of users worldwide. Our Suzhou-based engineering team builds and operates the Azure services that provision, configure, secure, and monitor these virtual devices at scale. As a Software Engineer II, you'll take ownership of meaningful features within our services — writing production code, debugging real customer issues, and growing your depth in cloud infrastructure alongside experienced engineers.Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Responsibilities• Implement, test, and ship features and components within our Azure services, working from designs you help shape.
• Write clean, maintainable, high-quality code and participate actively in code and design reviews.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack — from service logic and data layer to Azure resource interactions — using telemetry, logs, and diagnostic tooling.
• Share in live-site ownership for your team's services: monitor health, respond to incidents, and follow through on root-cause fixes and preventive improvements.
