Apple’s CoreOS organisation is looking for an exceptional engineer intern to support and develop tools. For this position you need to work with multiple software teams to make sure all the software (BIOS, FWs, Mac OS X, diags, tools, etc.) in Macintosh system (MacBook Pro/Air, iMac, Mac mini, etc.) works well in all of the developing phases, including live debug in line, working with all software related teams to root cause and fix issues, and developing debug tools and new software functionality.

Job Description - Monitor and analyze security infrastructure to support detection and response to threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents. - Conduct basic investigations of security events, including malware infections and unauthorized access attempts. - Escalate critical cases to the incident response team and to provide support where needed - Assist in identifying opportunities for tuning to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives - Handling case management, generating tickets and reports when required, and tracking open tickets until closure - Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reports
