Minimum Qualifications • Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Math or a related field; • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and workflows; • Proficiency in Python programming, with experience developing ML solution from data interface, to library optimization and cross validations; • Familiarity with data analysis tools in Python like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Jupyter notebooks; • Familiarity with industry leading ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc; • Basic knowledge of software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git). • Self-motivated, responsible; • Available to join internship for 6-12 months full-time; • This internship will be based on-site at our Shanghai office, providing you with the opportunity to work directly with our team, experience our company culture, and collaborate in person. Preferred Qualifications • Experience of camera, optics or imaging is a plus; • Experience in data analysis and visualization with Matlab/Python/JMP; • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (In both Chinese and English).

• Candidate will be responsible for: • - Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop ML tools for data processing, analysis, and visualization. • - Integrate and validate machine learning models on Apple new product introduction (NPI) process and mass production. • - Develop and implement automated pipelines for model training and evaluation. • - Conduct experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different models and algorithms. • - Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality and maintainable code. • - Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science techniques.
• Work with Apple engineers and manufacturing factory's engineering team on electrical tool development, failure analysis, HW testing and validation and other HW-related cross-team support • Travel to factories in other cities may be needed • The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of HW development related to consumer electronics, gaining invaluable industry experience

We are currently seeking hard-working EE major interns who can start work in 2025. The interns will support electrical & system design and integration of the Mac computers. The candidate will be assigned tasks that support the design, integration, implementation, testing, and qualification of various electrical sub-systems. Would prefer the candidate be self-motivated, a creative problem solver, a good communicator and motivator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Participate in development of next generation Mac products. - Be the expert to help with EE related issues. - Be the expert to do script development. - Good ability for issue summary and reporting. - Be able to manage vendor EE resources for better technical support.
