You will join a dynamic team focusing on improving the cellular stability and performance of the latest iPhone/iPad/Watch. Your job responsibilities will include but not limited to below points: - Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to execute 5G/4G cellular test jobs, analyze test results to identify in-depth and potential stability and KPI issues, generate analysis reports, and provide data-driven insights for problem resolution. - Developing natural language-based Chatbot tools tailored to the team's needs, enabling efficient information retrieval, test-related consultation, and automated interaction in the cellular stability testing workflow. - Applying AI methods to optimize the team's test strategies, test cases, and related processes for cellular stability testing, enhancing test coverage, accuracy, and resource utilization.
THE ROLE Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Wireless Software Development Engineer for the Wireless Systems team to develop best in class telematics solutions. The role involves design and validation of cellular (LTE and 5G) based solutions for telematics systems across Tesla vehicle platforms (S, 3, X, Y, ...). The position requires working closely with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, and creatively solving challenging design problems is of paramount importance. This position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight timing constraints. RESPONSIBILITIES o Integrate connectivity stack provided by SoC vendors into Tesla operating system o Contribute to Tesla’s wireless connectivity stack – Cellular. o Develop new features in well organized, efficient, and scalable C++ code. o Develop telemetry and analytics platform enabling data collection, analysis and visualization of data reported from Tesla fleet. o Conduct various scenarios of SW driven validations to ensure wireless connectivity performance of Tesla fleet. o Root-cause issues reported from different test scenarios and customers. o Contribute to rapid prototyping and evaluation of Tesla’s next generation wireless platforms. o Implement continuous improvements and best practices within the team, and larger organization.
Candidate will contribute to a multifaceted software suite based on C/C++. Candidate will develop algorithms and solutions to validate and characterize RF/Wireless system performance. Candidate will develop new features to improve the RF automation testing system. Candidate will build script for the RF test data analyzing and processing. Candidate will analyze results in conjunction with multi-functional teams to identify and root cause issues.
You will be responsible for crafting and maintaining hardware test suites for Apple's mobile products. You will work side by side with hardware engineers on specifying, implementing and debugging stress tests for new products in development. Some of your responsibilities will include: - Write, debug, and integrate new tests for coordinated chipsets (Baseband, application processors, PMU, etc). - Support product development builds. - Work closely with hardware and software engineers to debug chipset, hardware and firmware issues exposed during testing. - Early engagement with design teams to develop and implement test plans. - International and domestic travel is likely.
