Minimum Qualifications • BS/MS EE with 3-5+ years overall experience • Solid EE fundamentals, grounded in a proven understanding of E&M physics and first principles • Experience in circuit design and debug for a variety of domains including power, digital, analog, high-speed communications, programmable logic, and/or wireless • Exposure to numerical modeling, simulation, and analysis tools such as SPICE, 2D/3D field solvers, power & signal integrity • Schematic capture and constraint-drive PCB layout using Cadence tools or similar • Experience with PCB bringup and debug, including new or custom silicon, using standard EE lab equipment: Soldering, DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English and Chinese Preferred Qualifications • Demonstrated ability to understand technology and debug probl…

As the Hardware Engineering Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading your team through the electrical architecture, design, bring-up, debug, and validation of iPad products. You will be responsible for project resource planning, execution, and the mentorship and career development of your team members. Routine responsibilities also include overseeing factory build support and driving high-level multi-disciplinary collaboration and negotiation. - Focus on a few specific products made by Apple’s manufacturing partners in China. - The person will need to develop a close working relationship with our manufacturing partners. - Interface and coordinate work activities between Quality and other team members. - Uses production and field data to monitor, control and improve product quality to improve the yield and reduce the field return rate. - Implement Product Quality plans for new products at CM site and manage the product quality at the sites. - Perform Audits at the manufacturing partners to ensure compliance. - Ensure lessons learned from prior projects are used to improve the quality management process, and lead to improved product quality and reliability. - Be responsible for implementing quality systems and following through on improvements and corrective actions.
