Collaborate with product design and manufacturing teams on material selection, design, and manufacturing process development that meets performance, aesthetics, and other product requirements.
Creation of material specifications based on critical quality attributes for product design.
Utilize appropriate statistical and/or data analysis tools that translate these material critical attributes into a repeatable and capable manufacturing process.
Establish and manage relationships with manufacturers/suppliers to identify emerging technologies.
