Architect the Future: Establish visionary strategies and tactical execution plans to scale the APO, Regional, and WW Logistics network. You will design the blueprint for how Apple moves products globally, supporting unprecedented volume surges and critical New Product Introduction (NPI) launches. Pioneer Intelligent Logistics: Champion the integration of AI/ML tools and advanced data analytics. You won’t just look at data; you will use it to optimize routing, forecast demand with precision, and create a predictive, self-healing supply chain. Lead the Robotics Revolution: Drive our warehouse automation initiatives. You will oversee the strategic deployment and optimization of next-generation robotics (AMRs, AGVs) and automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS) alongside our OEMs and 3PLs, redefining efficiency and safety. Execute with Precision: Commit to absolute operational excellence. You will ensure flawless, on-time shipment execution while maintaining the impenetrable product confidentiality (zero loss, zero disclosure) that defines Apple’s NPI launches. Forge Strategic Partnerships: Engage, guide, and elevate our supplier network (OEMs, freight forwarders, 3PLs). You will transform vendors into strategic partners, driving joint initiatives in cost savings, process innovation, and aggressive carbon footprint reduction. Drive Compliance and Security: Conduct rigorous, impromptu security audits of freight forwarder warehouses, ensuring unyielding compliance with Apple’s High-Security Requirements (HSR) and Freight Security Requirements (FSR). Optimize the Network: Continuously analyze and re-engineer our logistics network to achieve the absolute shortest delivery cycle times for inbound materials, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in global freight. • Establish strategies / tactical plan to scale and support the team support structure and business needs within APO, Regional and WW Logistics Team. • Develop WW project / execution plan to support volume surge and NPI launches and ensuring suppliers compliance to Apple HSR/FSR and Secure-Ship Operations. • Interface closely with the Worldwide / Regional Logistics team on daily operations and update them on any logistics risk, challenges & developments within China. • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess supplier’s key performance indices and implement operational improvements across the supply-chain. • Commit to operational excellence in achieving on-time shipment execution at origin and maintaining product confidentiality, (zero loss, zero disclosure) for all NPI shipments. • Engage and provide sound guidance and support on new suppliers on-boarding (OEMs, freight forwarders and 3PLs). Work with them on cost savings and carbon footprint reduction initiatives through process and packaging improvements. • Periodically conduct impromptu freight forwarder’s warehouse security audits in the drive to ensure compliance to Apple’s HSR & FSR requirements. • Work closely with all Suppliers to ensure Apple’s FGs & AppleCares TDM & specific Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) are met. • Develop and optimize logistics networking in achieving the shortest delivery cycle-time time for inbound material movements. • Able to travel as required on short notices to international or domestic cities to support APO Logistics overall requirements.
