工作职责
Lead the SoC validation process in the factory by collaborating with cross-functional system and silicon teams to define test coverage and bring up hardware/software testing environments. Drive SoC defect failure analysis and upstream coverage improvements, with hands-on involvement in SoC bring-up, issue debugging, and data reporting. Build out the test coverage for new SoCs by applying what you know about chip behavior and system design. Act as the SoC expert within the EE team to drive power, performance, and thermal control optimization at the system level. Partner across global hardware, software, and silicon organizations to align on validation plans and ensure timely product delivery.

Support design, engineering, prototyping, and validation activities in both laboratory and factory environments. Create 3D models and 2D drawings, and perform tolerance analysis to ensure precise fit and assembly. Conduct engineering data collection and leverage statistical or AI-driven tools to analyze results and inform design decisions. Optimize component designs for high-volume manufacturing, applying DFM/DFA principles for injection molding, sheet metal, and CNC machining. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support factory builds and perform root-cause/failure analysis (may include up to 20% travel). Communicate technical specifications, test results, and design updates clearly and effectively to internal teams and external vendors.
