Join Apple's AML Team as an Engineering Program Manager driving our machine learning platforms on Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud). This role requires a combination of product and project management, a strong engineering background, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across various teams in Apple as well as with regional partners. We are looking for someone who loves digging into details, driving operational efficiencies under demanding timeframes, and driving large, complex projects. You will partner with our Data Science team to manage programs focused on preventing fraud. You will work directly with engineering teams to build out infrastructure and develop new integrations within our Alicloud instance, enhancing and scaling our machine learning platforms in the region. You will be expected to lead the team in delivering solutions that meet Apple's business goals while maintaining the highest industry and Apple Information Technology standards, along with the compliance and data-residency requirements specific to operating on Alibaba Cloud. Given close collaboration with local engineering teams, partners, and vendors, this role requires professional fluency in both Mandarin and English.
The Program Manager's responsibilities include providing comprehensive support for regulatory and quality activities in China and the APAC region. This includes product submissions, market initiatives, and policy interactions. - Oversee regulatory submissions, launch readiness, design changes, and medical device policy activities for the portfolio - Establish a robust understanding of the overall critical path to coordinate activities and resolve problems alongside cross-functional partners - Communicate program status and escalate risks to a variety of stakeholders - Establish and manage Design History File documentation timelines and successful execution across multiple cross-functional stakeholders

• Lead on product prototyping and factory manufacturing for MLB (main logic board) and Flex globally • Establish and manage build material readiness, schedule, critical path, and risks • Lead cross-functional collaboration, including Product Design, Electrical engineer, CE, DFM, wireless, Flex, reliability and operations • Drive components vendors and iPhone SMT factories day-to-day activities to meet project objectives and work closely with system EPM on system integration needs • Drive day-to-day build material readiness and manage build goal and matrix • Plan and execute product prototype builds • Communicate and present in various forums to wide ranges of audiences • Understand and deal well with rapid development cycles. The Technology Program Office in Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) champions technology calibration and test strategy while balancing between quality/customer experience with operational requirements.
