Minimum Qualifications
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, or related field with 5+ years of directly relevant experience, or MS with 3+ years (or equivalent practical experience/PhD).
Strong theoretical and experimental background in acoustics and/or vibration.
Solid noise and vibration testing and data analysis skills, and familiarity with typical noise and vibration testing equipment and analysis tools.
Acute acoustic listening ability with critical judgment across the audible frequency spectrum for subjective sound quality evaluation.
Good programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or equivalent languages for test automation, signal analysis, and data visualization or make this requirement weaker by using ‘Comfortable with Matlab, Python, or other scripting languages, and ability to learn new scripting skills…
