• Hardware-Software Co-Design: Maintain and iterate on the DexUMI wearable exoskeleton. You will bridge the kinematics gap between human hands and diverse robot end-effectors (e.g., XHand, Inspire Hand). • Sensor Fusion & Integration: Integrate high-fidelity tactile sensors and IMUs into wearable interfaces. Ensure low-latency data streaming. • Vision & Perception Pipelines: Implement and optimize the "software adaptation" layer—using tools to segment human operators out of training data and robot embodiments. • Data Engineering for AI: Build robust pipelines to collect, clean, and replay dexterous manipulation data for Imitation Learning and Diffusion Policies. • Optimization: Solve bi-level optimization problems to parameterize exoskeleton designs that maximize human wearability while preserving robot-equivalent fingertip workspaces.
• Drive technical sales with decision makers using demos and PoCs to influence solution design and enable production deployments. • Lead hands-on engagements—hackathons, code-with sessions, and architecture workshops—to accelerate adoption of Microsoft’s developer tools and cloud platforms. • Build trusted relationships with developers and platform leads, co-designing secure, scalable architectures and solutions • Resolve technical blockers and objections, collaborating with engineering to share insights and improve products. • Maintain deep expertise in AI Foundry & App architecture (Agentic AI framework, Semantic Kernel, Foundry SDK, Responsible AI) and App architecture/cloud native dev (APIs, containerization, microservices, event-driven, Python, Java or .NET). • Maintain and grow expertise in AI Management & Security (Gen AI Ops, Sentinel, orchestrator, monitoring). • Represent Microsoft through thought leadership in developer communities and customer forums
• Lead hands-on design and development efforts primarily using Python, building robust, scalable, and customer-focused AI/ML solutions. • Engage directly with key enterprise customers to strategize, architect and implement AI driven, Agentic AI solutions leveraging Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, Azure ML. • Translate complex requirements into practical, well-architected technical solutions. • Develop end-to-end, rapid prototypes, involving data ingestion, validation, processing, and model deployment using Azure platform components. • Build, customize, and optimize AI models and related components for customer-specific use cases. • Integrate AI solutions with full-stack architectures, preferably leveraging experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React) and/or .NET ecosystems. • Establish and maintain robust CI/CD and ML Ops pipelines, leveraging Azure DevOps, Github for automated deployments. • Proactively explore diverse datasets to engineer novel features and signals that significantly enhance ML performance. • Participate actively in every phase of the model lifecycle from conceptualization, training, fine tuning, validation, and deployment, to continuous monitoring and improvement.
• Investigate on and design for productivity efficiency improvement solutions in alignment with business needs, and drive execution from design through delivery. • Collaborate with cross-function engineering teams on project work dedication to streamline the system build and verification process and workflow. • Co-work with global automation and Infrastructure teams to design, build, and maintain large-scale, and on-premises infrastructures. • Stay hands-on technically, providing guidance on complex infrastructure challenges. • Cross-function Collaboration with ASIC, SW, System Design, Product, Security, and Operations teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and ownership. • Continuously improve processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and adaptability.
