• Design, implement and improve performance simulators and models to support the real-world use case study. • Develop and maintain software infrastructures for capturing, replaying and profiling complex application workloads running on our powerful SoC platform. • Conduct quantitative studies on the current and next-generation SoC architectures to evaluate performance across various use cases. • Investigate performance bottlenecks and propose architectural ideas to improve overall system and application performance.
In this role, you will work with architect, hardware and software engineering groups to provide accurate performance modeling of the next-generation inter-chip network architecture for high-performance AI chip and AI network. * Identifies the challenging problems, and evaluate various architectural solutions for the next-generation of network for AI chip and AI Super Pod. * Gets strong influences on future AI products by advanced architecture and evaluates the new architecture with performance modeling using C, C++, SystemC or other high level description languages. * Provides solid and accurate modeling result and influence the direction of next generation of AI networking. * Focus in the domain of AI chip to chip interconnect subsystem, Scale-up Switch chip, C2C link, and etc. * Participation in defining the micro-architecture of key subsystem. * Works closely with design, software, system, and verification team for the final success of products.

You will engage in System on Chip and IP power architecture exploration, modeling, and analysis for Customer-specific markets and workloads.
• Working with customers, partners, and IP vendors to understand SOC/IP solutions best suited for the target use cases and work with them to select and integrate appropriate IP/SOC solutions. • Work with Architects, Chip Leads, and Customers on SOC/IP design, development, timing closure, power analysis, methodology alignment, and program execution to ensure pre-silicon and post-silicon targets are met. • Integrating, evolving, and optimizing IP blocks across a range of products and use cases for NVIDIA SoCs in AI, driving, 6G, cloud, gaming, and other applications. • Working with teams throughout the company (Architects, RTL, PD, Circuit, SI, Thermal, SW, Platform, Operations, Marketing, etc...) on implementing cross-team solutions to achieve project targets. • Drive cross-team methodologies for external soft IP and PHY integration, Nvidia IP release to partner, RTL development and microarchitecture.
