Job Brief: As a global leader in energy management and automation, Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware development especially in Electrical /Electronic field. As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and debugging of firmware for power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC, etc.). Responsibilities: · Design and implement embedded firmware for power converters such as AC/DC and DC/DC Converters. · Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and implement HAL(Drivers) and perform troubleshooting. · Design and implement RTOS/Communication/Boot/Cybersecurity, etc. · Create design documentation and conduct design reviews. · Optimize firmware for performance, efficiency, and reliability. · Ensure compliance with firmware design and coding standards. · Identify and mitigate potential risks in firmware designs. · Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in power electronics and firmware development. · Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
THE ROLE: AMD Client & Graphics platform development team is part of Client & Graphics system engineering and is responsible for designing customer reference, silicon BU and validation platforms for all AMD CG products. You will be working with the global function teams on productivity tool development and driving both the dependencies and deliverables to hit internal milestones. THE PERSON: Responsible for driving cost balanced, scalable and automated tool solutions. Focusing on software/ firmware development as part of a full productivity tool design/delivery which is FPGA/ MCU based. Has good English communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team. Leading technical discussions, working with multiple function teams inside and outside of AMD to accomplish complex projects with aggressive schedule and challenges. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Knowledge of FPGA/MCU hardware (Arm, x86, pcie, memory, AXI bus) and software (Linux OS, firmware, driver) Has FPGA design experience, develop and maintain Petalinux-based systems for Xilinx hardware platforms such as Spartan,Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC Utilize Petalinux tools to create, configure, build, and package Linux systems. RTOS-based development (Zephyr RTOS, FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux etc) is a plus Implement automation scripts, data collection and analysis tools using Python. Participate in system bring-up and collaborate with hardware engineers to diagnose and close cross-layer software/hardware issues. Produce and maintain interface documentation, UI interaction specifications, test cases, and user-facing documentation.

In this role, you will: * Lead multiple electrical design and validation on multiple products across Amazon device portfolio * Research test/validation technologies and methodologies across factory and lab environment * Develop and execute detailed electrical validation test plans to ensure functional and parametric conformance * Drive debug and root cause of hardware design issues, qualifying trade-offs and user impact * Serve as the in-region technical liaison between US-based design teams and China-based manufacturing partners * Provide on-site electrical engineering support at manufacturing facilities in China * Drive hardware bring-up, debug, and failure analysis at manufacturing sites * Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives and manufacturing process optimization * Own and resolve electrical design issues across xVT phases, while driving validation status reporting across mile-stone gates * Leverage AI tools and/or write scripts where feasible to automate for efficiency * Support positive team interactions to accomplish program objectives * Coach or mentor junior electrical engineers
