Develop test plans for Wireless Connectivity evaluation in vehicle and bench setups Perform tests that conforms Wireless Connectivity functionality, features, performance and IOP Document, root-cause and follow up on bugs found in internal, beta, field and vendor testing Contribute towards enhancing Wireless Connectivity test automation and fleet wide data analytics Work closely with wireless SW development, Antenna, wireless HW and System Software teams to optimize performance Identify areas of opportunities and implement improvements, knowledge sharing and best practices Drive various tasks to completion and be a connoisseur of great quality product B.S or higher in Engineering, Computer science or proof of exceptional skills in related field Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese Experience in SDLC/STLC and QA processes Experience in Wireless technologies (Cellular/BT/Wi-Fi) and test plan development Knowledge or experience with Wireless connectivity tests in at least 1 domain below Cellular protocol functional testing i.e. 5G, LTE,etc Bluetooth profiles functional testing i.e. A2DP, HFP, MAP, HID,etc Wi-Fi protocol functional testing i.e. 802.11 a,b,g,n,ac,ax,etc Working knowledge of at least 1 domain below Cellular protocol conformance BT IOT testing and familiarity using tools i.e. FTS, Ellisys (OTA sniffer) a plus Wi-Fi throughput and Range vs Rate tests and familiarity using tools i.e. Wireshark, iPerf a plus Knowledge or experience with BT/Wi-Fi co-ex testing is a plus Working knowledge or experience with test automation frameworks using Python, Shell, GIT or Jenkins is a plus This job application may involve an interview with an interviewer outside of Tesla China. You will be responsible for validating Cellular/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth wireless technologies in Tesla vehicle platforms.

The role involves design and validation of Bluetooth based solutions for telematics systems across Tesla vehicle platforms (S, 3, X, Y, ...). The position requires working closely with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, and creatively solving challenging design problems is of paramount importance. This position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight timing constraints. RESPONSIBILITIES Integrate connectivity stack provided by SoC vendors into Tesla operating system Contribute to Tesla’s wireless connectivity stack – Bluetooth . Develop new features in well organized, efficient, and scalable C++ code. Develop telemetry and analytics platform enabling data collection, analysis and visualization of data reported from Tesla fleet. Conduct various scenarios of SW driven validations to ensure wireless connectivity performance of Tesla fleet. Root-cause issues reported from different test scenarios and customers. Contribute to rapid prototyping and evaluation of Tesla’s next generation wireless platforms. Implement continuous improvements and best practices within the team, and larger organization.
