The Role
As a Reliability Test Engineer focusing on energy storage/charging system, you will play a key role in designing reliability into Tesla Energy’s products. This role follows the reliability lifecycle of the product from concept to design, development testing/analysis, manufacturing, and field operation to design-in, confirm, and grow exceptional reliability at every stage. You will investigate failures through physical testing of charging and industrial energy storage system to accurately predict the system’s robustness and optimize product reliability while accelerating Tesla’s next gen products’ time to market.

Responsibilities
• Lead reliability test execution for all  energy/charging products.
• Determine  system test solutions that optimize for product reliability and durability, DFMEA-based risk mitigations, test team resources, and program schedules.
• Execute product, subsystem, and component level reliability/durability testing.
• Conduct test data analysis, clearly communicate test results, and collaborate with design and reliability engineers to resolve issues detected in testing.
