The Role
Tesla is seeking an EMC Engineer, Design and Validation, to work on sophisticated automotive electronic products for mass production. This role will support product design, debugging, and validation testing for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) for current and next generation Tesla products.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with design teams in all phases of product design, from the concept and architecture definition, development, validation testing, and introduction into production; as well as subject matter expert with suppliers.
Provide direction in the areas of schematic and circuit board layout design for EMC, product packaging and assembly, and cable design for RF shielding.
Lead EMC troubleshooting efforts, identify issue root cause and work with design team for permanent solutions.
Perform product risk assessment reviews for EMC and identify applicable EMC tests to satisfy EMC homologation, and regulatory compliance.
