The mission of Tesla Materials Engineering organization is to deliver new materials and manufacturing processes that revolutionize Tesla’s products.

Role
The team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who can devote the efforts into “Engineering Joints”. This role will cover both joint designing and validation test in China to speed up Tesla’s global products.

Responsibilities
• The successful candidate will have extensive theoretical and hands-on experience in all facets of various mechanical joining technologies and related equipment, as well as experience managing new product introductions, fastener/joint design.
• Work with responsible design groups for designing joints, and torque/load calculations.
