The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Benefits Consultant to join Tesla’s Regional Compensation and Benefits team. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving positive change across the company and must be both analytical and strategic in identifying efficiencies to deliver exceptional results. You must possess the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple task deliverables simultaneously, handle sensitive information with discretion, and partner effectively with HRBPs, Leaders, and employees to achieve company-wide success. This role is based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities
• Assist the Regional Benefits Leader in designing, reviewing, and implementing regional benefits policies and plans, including insurance, leave, recognition, and wellbeing programs.
• Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills to ensure a robust understanding of benefits policies among HRBPs, Leaders, and employees.
• Proactively support the review of existing benefits processes and the development of new compensation policies for the region, as well as the implementation of internal benefits tools and systems.
• Leverage external best practices to plan and administer employee Benefits and Wellbeing programs, delivering an exceptional and consistent employee experience even amidst rapid organizational changes.
• Manage external relationships with key vendors to ensure visibility, effective administration, and timely delivery of Benefits programs.
• Partner with HRBPs and business teams to align Benefits programs with Tesla’s evolving benefits strategy.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis to interpret market trends and survey benchmarking data, developing effective strategies that adapt to changing market conditions.
• Stay current on emerging benefits regulations and ensure strict compliance with statutory requirements in a dynamic regulatory landscape.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and a high-velocity work environment, maintaining high-quality output under tight deadlines.
