 About the Team: The GCID Hyperscaler Engineering (HSE) team plays a pivotal role in SAP’s transition to the global public cloud. As part of the HSE Operations & Service Delivery’s Operations Enablement team, you will collaborate closely with global operations, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure our public cloud connectivity, data acquisition, and observability objectives are met.
 
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong development focus to join our dynamic global team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions and internal tooling tailored for hyperscaler networks. Specifically, you will be involved in engineering our hyperscaler network automation suite to bring new features for:
Automated service delivery
Live service status reporting
Highly scalable, highly redundant hyperscaler network monitoring & alerting
Automated, AI-enabled, network incident diagnostics
 
The role will focus on AliCloud, but has high levels of exposure across Azure, AWS, GCP and IBM platforms.
