We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with a deep understanding of venture debt and series funding ecosystems to grow our portfolio of innovative financial solutions. This role will focus on forging strategic partnerships with startups and Venture Capital (VC) firms while leveraging an existing network to drive revenue through venture debt loans and complementary funding products. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at relationship-building, and has a proven track record of closing high-value deals. • Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development: o Identify, target, and engage high-growth startups seeking venture debt solutions as an alternative to equity dilution. o Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the venture debt market, targeting early- to late-stage startups and their VC investors. o Collaborate with VCs to co-create financing packages that integrate venture debt with traditional series funding (e.g., Series A/B/C). • Relationship Management: o Build and nurture partnerships with top-tier VCs, accelerators, incubators, and startups to foster referrals and long-term relationships. o Maintain proactive contact with key clients to understand evolving needs and drive repeat business. • Deal Execution: o Structure and negotiate customized venture debt agreements, including terms such as interest rates, repayment schedules, and covenants. o Present and pitch financing solutions to startups and their investors, highlighting how debt complements equity funding cycles. o Work cross-functionally with underwriting, legal, and operations teams to finalize transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Client Analysis & Risk Assessment: o Evaluate startups’ financial health, growth potential, and repayment capacity to ensure optimal deal alignment with company risk tolerances. o Provide market insights to leadership on emerging trends in venture debt demand and competitor strategies. • Reporting & Analytics: o Track performance metrics (e.g., deal pipeline, win/loss ratios, average ticket size) and provide actionable insights to improve sales processes. o Generate regular sales reports and update leadership on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities Collaborate with GPU sales team and SCE AIML TPM team to provide technical support for customers both at pre-sales and after-sales stage. Take ownership of problems and work to identify solutions. Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure components such as cloud resources, distributed computing systems, and data storage solutions to support AI/ML workflows. Collaborate with customers’ scientists and software/infrastructure engineers to understand infrastructure requirements for training, testing, and deploying machine learning models. Implement automation solutions for provisioning, configuring, and monitoring AI/ML infrastructure to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Optimize infrastructure performance by tuning parameters, optimizing resource utilization, and implementing caching and data pre-processing techniques. Troubleshoot infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability issues and implement solutions to mitigate risks and minimize downtime. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in AI/ML infrastructure and evaluate their potential impact on our systems and workflows. Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure maintainability. Qualifications: Experience in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes.
