The DiDi International Business Group (IBG) Mobility Marketplace is designed to efficiently connect riders and drivers while optimizing the overall user experience. The Marketplace Strategy (MPS) team functions as a centralized strategic hub, working in close partnership with regional operations worldwide to deliver data-driven solutions that accelerate business growth, strengthen user engagement and retention, and enhance marketplace efficiency. Our responsibilities include conducting in-depth analysis of user behavior and supply-demand dynamics to identify systemic areas for optimization. We design and incubate scalable strategies and develop analytical frameworks to address complex, cross-functional challenges. The team also plays a key role in enabling effective collaboration across Operations, Algorithm, Product, and Engineering functions to ensure seamless strategy execution. MPS initiatives span across fundamental marketplace levers—including dynamic pricing, intelligent dispatching, and incentive design—providing both strategic depth and operational exposure in shaping market-level outcomes and competitive positioning.
Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst focused on Marketplace High-Priority Projects, you will play a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives. Your scope will span three core areas: 
• Driving end-to-end execution of cross-functional, high-priority marketplace projects
• Identification of critical path risks and development of contingency plans
• Post-implementation evaluation and knowledge consolidation
Your mission is to ensure that marketplace projects—from agile pilots to large-scale rollouts—are thoughtfully scoped, executed with operational excellence, and continuously optimized through data-driven insights. You will act as a central orchestrator, aligning objectives, timelines, and resource plans across Product, Algorithm, Strategy Operations, and Regional Operations teams. In this role, you will serve as a key bridge between strategy and execution—translating complex business goals into actionable implementation plans, tracking progress against milestones, mitigating risks, and distilling insights to inform future direction. Ultimately, your work will help ensure that our marketplace evolves in a structured, scalable, and impact-oriented manner across diverse city environments.

Driving End-to-End Execution of Cross-Functional High-Priority Projects
• Lead the full-cycle execution of key marketplace initiatives, from design to deployment.
• Define clear objectives, key milestones, and resource requirements.
• Develop comprehensive work breakdown structures (WBS) and actionable project plans.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment and on-time execution.

Critical Path Risk Identification and Contingency Planning
• Monitor critical project milestones and proactively identify risks such as launch delays, parameter misalignments, or abnormal performance metrics.
• Develop emergency response protocols to safeguard operational stability.
• Contribute to the design of fallback strategies and contingency plans to mitigate systemic risks, including supply-demand imbalances.

Post-Implementation Evaluation and Knowledge Consolidation
• Design robust evaluation frameworks and metrics to assess project performance, with clear attribution to specific strategies.
• Monitor key indicators to quantify outcomes and uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct phased reviews to consolidate methodologies and develop reusable templates for standardized project management.
• Enable cross-city replication, capability scaling, and the productization of proven strategic solutions.


Qualifications
• Master’s degree required in Business, Economics, Business Analysis, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related discipline
• Prior internship experience in business analysis, consulting operations, or related roles is preferred
• Proficient in SQL, Python and Excel for data extraction, analysis, performance tracking, and data visualization
• Skilled in crafting clear, structured, and insight-rich presentations using PowerPoint for business reviews and cross-functional alignment
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and support structured, insight-driven decision-making
• Strong business acumen and learning agility, with the ability to deeply comprehend business strategy and key business levers —and translate them into actionable insights and cohesive solutions
• Excellent project coordination and organizational abilities, with a track record of managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights
• Proactive and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive outcomes across Product, Algorithm, Operations, and Data teams
