For our PT team, we are looking for a Product Care Engineer to help us drive GIS Business within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you. You’ll make an impact by • New products introduction from Germany to Wuxi factory, including switchgear or key components such as LBS, VI-BOX or Drive. • Specific design or solution development for key customers from different regions to support Siemens’ business development. • Manage all mass-produced products from technical perspective to improve our competitiveness from life-cycle management, cost optimization and quality improvement. • Technical support for internal and external customers, give solution proposals, technical evaluation of our products, etc. • Supplier chain resilience related tasks from HQ or SMVS sourcing committee. • Others assigned by line manager.

Taking special account of functional, Manufacturing and installation aspects as well as economic aspects. - Create samples and prototypes to test the concepts, include the preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of development tests as well as the derivation of improvement measures from the results. - Work together with simulation and technical testing and coordinating with internal and external partners (Headquarter in Germany, Suppliers etc.) - Cooperate with relevant departments to do new product introduction and production line set up. - Release of new parts according to related process
