Position Quality Leader for Protection Relay – Digital Power LoB – CS&Q Team in China About the Position For our Digital Power Line of Business, CS&Q team in China, we are looking for a new quality leader, who will drive the end‑to‑end quality strategy and execution for our Protection Relay offers (ARC Flash Protection). As the quality leader embedded in the agile product squad, you will ensure that quality is built in, not inspected in; representing voice‑of‑customer, deploying design and process quality, sharing hardware & firmware quality practices, and deploying prevention mechanisms. You will also own the offer quality performance for in‑market products, coordinating with manufacturing plants, suppliers and other internal & external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experience. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Built-in Project Quality – New Product Development • Ensure built-in quality through Agile Execution Model and Offer Lifecycle Management (OLM). • Define and lead the Quality Action Plan across agile increments. • Deploy and coach teams on Design for Safety & Reliability, Software Quality Fundamentals for hardware and firmware team. • Drive reliability planning (targets, budgets), robustness design reviews, and validation strategies (HALT/HASS, accelerated life testing, EMC/thermal stress). • Partner with design team to align Critical-to-Quality (CTQs) with design and validation plans. • Represent customer perspective (Voice of Customer) in design decisions and risk reviews. End-to-End Offer Quality – Existing Products • Own global offer quality performance; set annual targets and improvement initiatives. • Consolidate quality data (manufacturing, supplier, field) and lead Issue-to-Resolution (I2R) and Problem-to-Prevention (P2P) activities. • Conduct customer risk analysis for non-conformities; decide and execute stop delivery and derogations when needed. • Manage customer-facing communications for quality issues, offer evolution, and withdrawals. • Establish and run surveillance plans (field data, IoT feedback, reliability dashboards); monitor and act on results. • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned integration into future designs. • Authority to escalate business risks and convene cross-functional reviews for urgent issues. Offer Procurement Leader – Schneider Electric From Power Product China OCP What is it about? The Offer Procurement Leader • supports Product Development projects within the Offer Creation Process (OCP) securing an efficient supplier selection process, reaching & beating end-to-end cost targets & Time-to-market objectives. • is an important actor for coordination of purchasing activities between Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization and Business (league). • supports the implementation of global / local procurement strategy suppliers which matches the business needs in terms of growth, technical challenges. Main Objectives • Lead negotiation end to end starting from preparation up to the award of the business (including e-RFQ) • Influence and Deploy category strategy, SoC, method (Should cost, e-sourcing template) • Challenge & Influence SOC/Recommended choices: ensure that category choices fit with biz needs • Risk analysis of suppliers and EE components selection in project • Contribute to the elaboration of the different Procurement deliverables • Guide components & sub assembly selection with a procurement approach (Challenging the target cost, considering Total Cost of Ownership, Innovation, avoid single sourcing, promote standardization, supply chain flexibility, quality). • Analyze and challenge the needs. • Contribute to the achievement of OCP project targets (product cost, project cost, quality, and time-to-market) while respecting the procurement processes and strategy. • Contribute to the make or buy decision • Bring supplier market knowledge and innovation into projects. • For major suppliers: participate to key supplier negotiation preparation and negotiation when relevant • Challenge the specification, define PPEP and contract review.
a) As the R&D Principal Verification and Validation Engineer (Or Project Test Leader),you should be able to define and execute the project verification and validation test strategy and plan, Keep the delivery at good quality, keep good cooperation with squad team. b) Also involved in the key internal relationships, you will closely collaborate with with project team to make sure the design meets the design spec and offer requirement. And you will review the design documentation and inform related departments to renew the documentation. c) What's more, as for the key external relationships, you will work with regulatory agencies to let our products get the certificates, and also work with outside certified laboratories to verify some special function requirement. And you will collaborate with international teams for product verification and validation test. d) This position is located in Shanghai. In term of workplace this position requires you to go on a business trip once a month or more times. e) In addition, you need to have international cooperation and communication skills, as well as fluent English communication skills.
