Qualifications
We are seeking a highly seasoned, strategic Senior Compliance Officer to oversee our regulatory compliance framework and lending operations in Hong Kong. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in the lending sector, the successful candidate will serve as the primary guardian of our regulatory standing, ensuring all business operations strictly align with the Money Lenders Ordinance (Cap. 163) and upcoming digital lending landscapes. 
While the primary focus of this role is broader regulatory compliance, governance, licensing, and data privacy under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO), the position also encompasses Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) responsibilities (comprising approximately 20-30% of the core duties). Given our tech-driven approach, experience within the Fintech and Payments sectors is highly preferred. Additionally, a strong understanding of money lending frameworks in other jurisdictions will be considered a distinct advantage.

● Bachelor degree in law, accounting, business or finance is preferable or with equivalent work experience in the financial sector. 
● At least ten years of relevant legal and regulatory compliance experience in the financial industry with at least three years in a leadership role.
● Knowledge of fintech, mobile banking, payment systems, and acceptive to the use of new technology such as AI
