Optimize and execute validation processes, ensuring seamless quality assurance across the releases. Effectively handle resources, to ensure smooth execution and adaptability to changing priorities. Define and implement key quality metrics (e.g., test case coverage, test efficiency, defect leakage) to track and enhance validation effectiveness. Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Self-motivated, able to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment. Deliver timely and precise updates on testing status and quality metrics to collaborators throughout all testing phases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively debug and resolve complex technical issues. • Lead the software development in C/C++, Python, and in GPU languages such as CUDA, ROCm, or Triton• Analyze metrics and identify opportunities based on offline and online testing, develop and deliver robust and scalable solutions.• Work with cutting-edge hardware stacks and a fast-moving software stack to deliver best-of-class inference and optimal cost.• Engage with key partners to understand and implement inference and training optimization for state-of-the-art LLMs and other models.
The Carrier Engineering Account Manager will work together with a team of highly skilled test engineers and developers based in China and abroad, is in charge of taking Apple cellular products through technical approvals with wireless carriers. You are responsible for introductions and trials of new wireless technologies and network-impacting features in Apple products, and work with carriers on the verification of fixes in new iOS software builds, prototype hardware or network changes.
The Technology Program Office in Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) champions technology calibration and test strategy while balancing between quality/customer experience with operational requirements. In this highly cross functional role, we are looking for leaders to engage in early stages of technology development supporting prototyping, design validation, simulation & metrology development activities, as well as identifying mass production intent solutions. This would require proactively driving alignment and convergence plan with cross functional teams, identifying risks & mitigating them — all while presenting frequently to senior leadership across Apple.
