Minimum Qualifications • BS or MS EE/ME/Physical Sciences • Proven experience as a design or design validation engineer or relevant engineering experience and background • Excellent understanding of HW/SW architecture and interoperability of a complex systems. Fundamental EE knowledge is a requirement • Experience leading technical project. Experience with technologies and tests involved in mobile devices is a plus • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Knowledge of data analysis and statistics • Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills including effective executive presentation • Dynamic and “can do” attitude lead product manager with the dream to work with a great team and product Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience with one or more of the following technologies: Acoustics, Display, Touch, Imaging Sensors, Motion Sensors, Automation control, PCB (e.g SoC, Memory), Power or Battery.

- Working closely with the development teams, early in the product development lifecycle, to define functional and performance tests. Be the key person concerning calibration, test stations and diagnostics to ensure the product performs at the highest level - Responsible for leading all the ongoing factory tests being conducted in the Mobile Group, for new product introduction from prototype to mass production. - Responsible for the development of test procedures, test plans and test reports. Developing/executing project plans. - Specifying/implementing test process control and data collection, detailing all the ongoing tests. - Be the key liaison between our organization and our Contract Manufacturers - Interact with internal groups at Apple to ensure that tests are being performed adequately and on time. - Responsible for communicating to executives, upper management and technical staff on the progress of our product development and calibration/ test maturity. - This position requires ability to deal with dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring decision-making with ambiguous information.

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer you’ll be expected to: • Design and Develop test solutions and test-setup prototypes for new technologies • Work collaboratively with engineering and operations partners • Serve as a test lead on cross-functional projects with significant bottom-line impact • Ensure the quality and execution of our manufacturing test systems • Lead test design and drive test coverage reviews with engineering teams and CMs. • Proactively communicate technical information and status to broad, cross-functional teams via weekly updates • Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions • Understand system inter-dependencies and limitations • Travel to development and build sites in Seattle and Asia to support NPI activities. • Work with contract manufacturing test teams to ensure test line readiness for NPI build events.
