- Review and sign-off on recurring battery tester calibration activities being carried out at CM/supplier testing laboratories. Implement tester equipment best practices. - Lead cross-functional audits for EE Technical Areas at the CM/supplier testing labs, capture, and document status of compliance vs. specifications. - Lead and drive MIL (Master Issues List) at Suppliers to ensure timely execution and closure of open items vs. due dates. - Support any FA related activities in the EE space to address battery qualification data and parity between parallel data sets. - Support Executive reporting for any program related data or status updates as necessary. Analyze data and report findings for multiple functions, e.g., Equipment, Metrology, Qualification Testing, Lab, etc. - Support Qualification testing data flow and analysis to ensure timely parity analysis is demonstrated across both in-region and U.S. teams. - Be able to engage, support, and execute all tasks in an array of Apple technologies, software systems, and project management tools. - Be able to travel to multiple vendors across Asia to support workflows and initiative tasks as needed. - Be able to travel to the U.S. for executive reviews and senior leadership report outs as needed.
- Managing multinational vendors and the projects designated for the team, which will span the lifecycle of a new product from initial design and functional specification of new hardware features and overall subsystem design all the way to supporting and validating these features (35%); - Driving the development of component/module vendors and tester/evaluation plan bring-up to deliver scalable solution to support Apple mass production in a high quality way (35%); - Reviewing and commenting on schematics and system reviews, developing analysis tools for hardware performance, performing complex system level tests, enhancing and resolving issues in existing products, and performing unit testing and integration testing (15%); - Collaborating with hardware, electrical, quality, and test engineers that will be applying the health sensing feature, as well as writing design and architecture documents (15%); and - up to 20% travel required.

• Perform large-scale benchmarks for competitive analysis and comparative analysis. • Design tools to automate product definitions, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis. Provide detailed data analysis of functionality, performance, and latency. • Develop methodologies to optimize HW/SW performance and power management to maximize Perf/WATTand user-experience on AC and on DC power. Feedback improvement areas to the different architecture and design teams teams. • Research new architectural features for next generation GPU, CPU and SOC to optimize performance and power features development, and transcend product goals. • Tackle multi-variable problems via system level modeling, testing and characterization, trend analysis/projection, and model verification. • Architect essential next generation product features that are vital for performance, power optimization and management techniques all the way from feature definition to production; working with multi-functional teams. • Driving new feature initiatives across multiple business units, while translating noise aware circuits and performance requirements to hardware features, design requirements, silicon characterization needs and test requirements. Creating new system features and methodologies for Nvidia Silicon shipping into data center, consumer and automotive markets spanning broad areas. • Prototype and fine-tune the features on pre-production silicon fabricated using state-of-the-art processes for circuit, speed, performance, power, yield and quality to define the world’s fastest products. • Build pre and post-silicon methodologies to characterize Analog, digital and Mixed Signal circuits, silicon features, correlate silicon behavior with simulations, and provide design feedback. • Work alongside system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW applications engineering, process/reliability specialists, ATE engineers, product managers, sales, and operations, in a multifaceted, high-energy work environment to bring industry-defining products to market. • Designing tools to automate characterization, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis. • Find creative solutions to complex silicon and system level problems and be on the frontline to lead show-stopper bugs, in order to enable product shipment.
