Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
BSME or equivalent (MSME, MSIE desired), with 5 plus years in an automation engineering role with experience in automation equipment design (product design add on) as well as design for manufacturability and advanced manufacturing engineering.
Proven working knowledge of DFM (automation equipment design review).
Confirmed ability in automation engineering & manufacturing process field with relevant design technical expertise.
Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of optics principles as they relate to CCD cameras, 3D, 2D and 1D lasers, and their use for positioning and critical alignment fixtures.
Basic understanding of glue adhesive dispense, PSAs and VHBs, or coils winding processes, sensing camera processes, glass or lens lamination processes.
Understanding of pneumatics, servo motors, 4axis and 6axis robots, PLC and PC-based control systems a plus.
