Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (mechanical engineering, materials engineering, electrical engineering, physics or related fields etc.).
Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills.
Ability to make clear and concise slides and presentations through keynote, excel, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
M.S. or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or an equivalent field.
Experience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress Tests, Shock/Drop/Vibration Testing, Environmental Testing.
Statistical experience such as Weibull, JMP, or familiarity with accelerated test models.

Bringing up and monitoring the Reliability Labs at our contract manufacturers. Interfacing with cross-functional partners to ensure a seamless test and failure analysis process. Developing new reliability tests procedures and specifications. Preparing concise and detailed test plans and analyzing test reports. Statistically analyzing data to provide design risk assessments. Researching new technologies to understand unique failure mechanisms. Guiding design and interacting with diverse groups to improve product reliability.
* Own and drive end-to-end program strategy, high velocity decisions, manage risks/escalations to ensure successful launch of new products. * Collaborate with HW Compliance Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Operations and other key cross-functional stakeholders during all phases of the program. * Ownership and delivery of key compliance documentation for international certification approval. * Deliver programs in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and strong communication skills. * Develop and document processes to continually improve efficiency and reduce complexity in operations.
Conduct system SI design reviews. Execute system bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, and triage. Perform tests and measurements using lab instruments to debug and validate end-to-end IO interface designs. Support factory engineering build activities, which includes traveling to manufacturing sites. Develop and implement factory test stations, write test scripts, analyze test data, and provide actionable design feedback.
As the Hardware Engineering Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading your team through the electrical architecture, design, bring-up, debug, and validation of iPad products. You will be responsible for project resource planning, execution, and the mentorship and career development of your team members. Routine responsibilities also include overseeing factory build support and driving high-level multi-disciplinary collaboration and negotiation. We are looking for a well-rounded technical leader with a strong track record of managing high-performing teams, a broad set of technical skills, and the strategic vision to guide the team in tackling challenging problems.
