This position (NPI and Sustaining Ops Mgr) is responsible for delivering all products from development to launch and manage them through sustaining period to end of life. The scope of responsibility for this position covers various aspects of operation functions including operation program manager, materials program manager and factory operations in both NPI and sustaining stage. Roles and Responsibilities: · Attend NPI core team meetings and factory builds on site to keep track of program schedule · Manage CMs to ensure the material and production readiness to support the new product development · Track material clear to build status and solve material shortage escalations from CMs · Managing supply chain flexibilities against demand fluctuation to meet all customer shipments on time · Drive solutions to eliminate material shortage and excess situation through the product lifecycle to reduce the potential cost and exposure, liability analysis/disposal when program EOM. · Bring up new supply base operational capabilities to support the cost and sourcing strategy · Lead PRQ (Post Ramp Qualification) for sustaining programs. · Be able to work cross-functional with other organizations building strong relationships within Amazon · Work with function team drive manufacturing and operation continue process improvement for cost saving opportunity. · Travel required, up to 30%, with a majority being local travels

NVIDIA has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Materials Planner in our Quick Turn/ NPI Materials Organization. The position requires exceptional materials management skills and supply planning expertise in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of procurement, planning, and contract manufacturing supply chain in multinational manufacturing industry. What you’ll be doing: • Collaborate effectively with Engineering Program Mgmt. teams to understand build requirements for new products supporting bring-up boards for validation and qualification. Support the engineers’ requests on material transition, samples delivery, deviation release. • Manage build schedule shortages impacting CTB (clear to build) and work with materials support team on materials supply risk mitigation. • Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including GCM, engineering, manufacturing, to ensure alignment on NPI material requirements and build timelines. Use data analytics to identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NPI supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. Find opportunities to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance. • Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks using data analytics. Develop data-driven contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to minimize the impact of potential disruptions. • Manage consigned material demand in ERP system and follow through with internal teams to ensure consigned materials readiness to schedule, manage the consigned inventory with accurate allocation and excess disposition. • Monitor BOM changes and ensure all changes are identified and loaded accurately through MRP/SAP system. • Consolidate results and provide updates to cross functional teams on material status for all assigned NPI builds. Run review meetings with internal (engineering and operations) and external teams (CMs) to align build schedules. • Prepare and communicate critical Materials availability updates to cross functional leadership teams; maintain executive reports and summaries, providing accurate and timely data to leadership on agreed cadence.
The Role Tesla’s Finance team combines traditional financial planning and analysis with broader business decision making and strategy, directly supporting leadership. Finance is embedded in daily operations, supporting both near-term execution and long-term planning. As a Battery System Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, and design innovative consumer product. You will work closely with an internal interdisciplinary team, and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition and execution. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. In this role, you will: 1. Lead the design, development, and delivery of Li-ion battery system per performance and safety requirements 2. Drive battery development from NPI through mass production 3. Research and evaluate emerging battery technologies 4. Collaborate with product teams to define battery specifications 5. Design battery protection circuit and pack design for NPI programs include schematic design, and component selection. 6. Develop and review battery pack schematics, BOMs and layout to meet design requirements 7. Conduct system and design reviews, failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA), and risk assessments 8. Analyze and resolve battery-related issues in production and field 9. Perform battery safety assessment and design for safety 10. Support battery certification processes (CTIA/IEEE1725) 11. Manage and coordinate with CMs (contract manufacturers) on battery development for NPI programs 12. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners
