• Product thermal design and thermal/mechanical definition for next generation products. • Manage the development, specifications, design and manufacturing for your thermal solutions, i.e. heat sinks, interface materials, structures, fan, acoustics, thermally related ergonomics, enclosures, etc. • Prepare early design concepts and drive product thermally related design trade-offs • Research new materials, processes, and technologies to meet product goals • Support manufactory side thermal related issues debug and drive for solution. • Work with global team from concept design to manufacture and quality issue.
• Design responsibility for the creation of new products designed around our GPUs, DPUs and CPUs to cover Graphics, Self-driving platform, Server, and Data center. • The LDE drives every aspect of design execution, initial test and bring-up, manages documentation required to release the product to manufacturing and partners, and is the main interface to the Silicon/Thermal/Mechanical/SI/EMC engineers. • The scope of the LDE role has been carefully tailored to allow these individuals to consistently deliver world class product quality on a SOL schedule, while applying great attention to detail and quality of execution. • Research the new feature/circuits and involve the establishment/discussion of industry standards, then implement them on the next generation product/platform design.

As a member of the Firmware Integration team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality firmware, software, and hardware to the manufacturing line. You will architect the software solutions for manufacturing quality Energy products (e.g. Powerwall, Megapack) in our factories. Rethink manufacturing processes and test equipment dependency with our in-house product and design teams. Engineer a software stack capable of ultra-high volume production capacity across our entire supply chain. Ensure flexibility within our product design and manufacturing test functionality to achieve critical business objectives. Collaborate closely with hardware, manufacturing, and service engineering to design firmware and automation solutions for a seamless commissioning experience. Responsibilities： · Develop, enhance and debug new and existing software in C, Python, or Golang. · Perform hardware and firmware integration of current and next generation Tesla charging systems. · Author product test specification of home and commercial charging products for optimal coverage at each step in the assembly process. · Design robust and exhaustive test procedures for high voltage power electronics, battery modules, thermal systems, and solar product assemblies. · Contribute to software architecture design, development of software applications, and integration into manufacturing processes and production lines. · Track and communicate project status and risks to the wider organization. Interact with engineers from multiple teams. · Hands-on with hardware bring up, debug issues and devise solution paths. · Provide technical and leadership excellence for the team. Role The Sensing Hardware Team is responsible for architecting, designing, validating and integrating state-of-the-art sensing technologies for all Tesla vehicles. The sensors we develop support ADAS (Autopilot), safety, HVAC, chassis and other subsystems. As a Sensor Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overall performance of the sensing system and its features at any point in the product life cycle, serve as the owner of a given sensing system to address any issues discovered from development through deployment, understand and debug hardware and software interactions from prototyping through product launch, and manage priorities and support a host of projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Drive the design and execution of sensing subsystems through the following: Specification generation: distill sensor product requirements into constraints and actionable engineering systems design discussions Collaboration: lead cross-functional sensor design discussions with electrical, software, supply chain, manufacturing, thermal, and mechanical teams Architecture definition: translate sensor design discussions into design documents in the form of system block diagrams, functional and performance
