AMDSys/Test Validation Engineer

THE ROLE: AMD Graphics Platform validation team is part of Graphics systems and customer engineering, and is responsible for validating platforms for AMD client products and graphic Products. You will be working with cross function teams globally to validate client and graphics platforms, triage/debug issues, and drive validation’s deliverables to hit platform validation milestones. THE PERSON: Bachelor +, Minimum of 6+ year hands-on industry experience in PC, laptop , Graphics , mother boards, server product test and issue debug. Excellent communication skills including English ability in oral and written Be able to work both independently and in a team. Leading technical discussion with multiple function teams and drive issue’s triage and debug. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Engaged in AMD Client and dGPU’s post-silicon phases , Driving to review internal & customer’s design, develop validation strategies and test plan for AMD reference or customer platform designs Create test procedures and generate technical documents as needed. Execute Post-Si Integration validation ; Track/Report validation status . Triage/debug system level issue with cross function engineering teams (Firmware , SW , diag , board design) , and root cause the issue Support new product bring-up and debug issues

THE ROLE: As a member within the Post-Silicon Solution Validation Development team, you will play a critical role in system/solution level feature enablement and ensuring comprehensive validation coverage by coordinating with multiple validation teams. Your expertise in system-level features and x86 architectures will be pivotal in leading efforts across various stages of silicon development, from IP firmware development and IP bring up to feature enablement and validation at both IP, SW and system levels. The Your role will not only focus on technical excellence but also leadership in driving process improvement, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. THE PERSON: A quick learner for new technologies. Excellent communication skill (both verbal and written), including Mandarin and English. Key performance skills include decision making, problem solving, teamwork. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead APU/CPU system/solution level feature enablement for critical areas such as Modern Standby (or general power management), Managebility, and NPU, etc. Define APU/CPU system/solution level feature validation strategy, oversee and ensure comprehensive validation coverage, working closely with multiple internal and external validation teams across different stages of silicon development. Improve gen to gen validation quanlity and efficiency for system/solution features. Contribute significantly to debugging and problem resolution for solution features, facilitating a smooth and efficient development cycle. Engage horizontally across different silicon development stages, including IP firmware development, feature IP bring up, feature enablement, and IP/system level validation, SW validation. Collaborate vertically across various technical layers, from hardware to firmware, OS (& drivers), and applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimization. Take on leadership roles, such as driving process improvements, leading technical forums, and contributing to team activities. Foster innovation by contributing to research papers, patents, and other forms of intellectual property that advance our technological capabilities and industry leadership.

• Business & Solution Architecture• Strong ability to translate complex finance, supply chain, and manufacturing requirements into scalable D365 F&O solution designs, prioritizing standard capabilities and extension patterns over customization. • Experience driving end‑to‑end solution blueprints across modules (Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Production, Project, Master Planning), integrations, analytics, and operational processes. • Platform & Cloud Architecture• Enterprise‑scale experience with Microsoft SaaS ERP on Azure, including environment topology (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod), high availability/DR considerations, and Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management, monitoring, and issue remediation. • Familiarity with One Version update cadence, feature management, hotfix strategy, and regression mitigation practices. • Application Development (X++ / Extensions)• Proficiency in X++, metadata and form patterns, extensions (class/table/form), event handlers, SysOperation framework, batch processing, caching strategies, and set‑based operations. • Understanding of data modeling in F&O: tables, indexes, EDTs, enums, data entities, query framework (Query/QueryBuildDataSource), valid time state tables, and performance‑friendly design. • Data Migration & Data Management• Hands‑on with the Data Management Framework (DMF/DIXF), data entities, configuration data projects, data packages, sequencing, cutover runbooks, and validation. • Experience with Bring Your Own Database (BYOD)/Export to Azure Data Lake for downstream analytics, archival, and operational reporting. • Integrations & Eventing• Practical knowledge of OData/Custom services, Recurring Integrations API, file‑based integrations, Business Events (Azure Service Bus/Event Grid/Webhooks), and Dual‑write with Dataverse. • Design of resilient, secure, and observable integration patterns via Azure services (API Management, Functions/Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Insights). • Analytics & Reporting• Experience with Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations and formats; knowledge of SSRS reports in F&O where required. • Manufacturing & Production Control• Deep understanding of Discrete, Process, and Lean Manufacturing in D365 F&O, including BOMs, routes, resources, production orders, batch orders, Kanban, and shop floor execution. • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration, IoT scenarios, and real‑time production reporting. • Knowledge of Advanced Warehouse Management for raw material and finished goods handling, and integration with production flows. • Familiarity with Master Planning (MRP), demand forecasting, and capacity planning for manufacturing environments. • DevOps & Test Automation• Delivery using Azure DevOps: branching strategies, build pipelines for X++, deployable packages, automated deployments via LCS, and gated update processes. • Test automation with RSAT, SysTest/ATL, and integration into CI/CD for regression coverage; defect triage and requirements traceability. • Security, Compliance & Governance• Role‑based security design (Roles/Duties/Privileges), Segregation of Duties (SoD), audit and monitoring practices; data obfuscation for non‑prod. • Awareness of regulatory and localization features (tax, electronic invoicing/ER, statutory reporting), GDPR/data residency, and internal controls/SOX‑aligned change management. • Tooling & Ecosystem• Visual Studio for F&O, Azure DevOps (Repos/Boards/Pipelines/Test Plans), Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps) integration, and ISV solution evaluation/fit‑gap. • Security & Data Protection• Familiarity with encryption, certificate and secret management (Key Vault), API security, least‑privilege access, and auditability across integrations and reporting. • Industry & Best Practices• Up‑to‑date with D365 F&O patterns (extensions over overlayering), form patterns, UX guidelines, telemetry‑driven ops, and Microsoft FastTrack recommendations.
