任职要求
MUST · Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering preferred. · 3+ years of professional or research experience in battery related topics. · Strong Electrical Engineering background in battery systems, circuit analysis and simulation. · Experience designing digital communication buses (CAN, Automotive/Industrial Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.). · Proficiency in Altium or other schematic and PCB layout software. Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing PCBAs. · Proficiency in simulation tools such as LTspice, Matlab or Pspice. · Ability to tackle problems and reason using first principles approach. · Familiar with lab equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, load, soldering iron, etc.). · Experience in statistical data analysis and fluent with SQL. · Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or other high level and scripting language. · Fluent spoken and written English. PREFERRED · Hands on experience from HV system related projects preferred. · Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred. · Basic understanding of mechanical design fundamentals. · Familiarity with BMS algorithm (model identification, SOC, SOH, balance) is a plus. THE ROLE Tesla is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to design and develop electronics for use in our HV electronics systems. This individual will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to deliver best in class electrical architectures and products. RESPONSIBILITIES · Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for battery management system, include power conversion, contactor control, protection, etc. · Conduct through testing and validation of electronic components and systems to meet design requirements and regulations. · Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to battery electronic systems, include global contractor manufacturer and giga factories. · Collaborative work with mechanical, firmware, software, thermal design, manufacturing test, and system test engineers to land the product to mass production. · Support design reviews and DFMEAs.

As a Battery Electronics Test Engineer, you will work with a passionate and multi-disciplinary group of engineers while learning how to build and use hardware, firmware, and software solutions to validate Tesla Battery Electronics products to rigorous internal and automotive-industry standards. We are interested in diverse candidates of relevant experience, and we will prioritize curious and driven engineers with strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills. RESPONSIBILIES · Design, build, instrument, and automate testing equipment for electrical, thermal, and mechanical testing · Work together with Design Engineers, Reliability scientists, Material scientists, Quality, and Service to identify failure modes and generate design validation and reliability test plans · Perform validation and reliability testing at the component and system levels, simulating realistic and accelerated stress conditions · Collaborate with test technicians as peers to achieve test objectives · Investigate Battery Electronics assembly and subassembly failures to drive product development and test improvement · Identify and execute experiments targeting new technologies or critical failures · Interface and simulate complex vehicular systems to validate firmware/hardware interactions · Create novel ways to apply skills learned in the test lab to benefit vehicle products
