Team Introduction

The Tesla Electronics Test and Automation Team is dedicated to designing and developing advanced test hardware, software, and technical processes. Here, you will collaborate closely with electronics design, firmware, integration, and manufacturing teams to build high-complexity automated functional test systems that support large-scale electronics manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Test System Development & Support: Under mentorship, participate in the design and implementation of test system software and hardware for Tesla products from prototype to mass production.
Driver Development & Integration: Assist in developing device drivers for new products and integrating them into larger production systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage early in the product development lifecycle with Electrical Engineering (EE), firmware, and integration teams to optimize Design for Test (DFT) and propose test functionality and performance enhancements.
Data Analysis & Feedback: Support failure/data analysis efforts and provide actionable feedback to electronics design, firmware/software, and manufacturing teams to drive product and process improvements.
Documentation & Process Standards: Contribute to system test plan documentation and assist in communicating test progress to leadership and team members.
