THE ROLE As a mechanical design engineer, you are expected to be innovative and will play a critical role in the core development team for Tesla next generation products. You will analyze and optimize our revolutionary designs with your expertise; contribute to defining the best product in the industry along with a group of talented engineers. You will be brilliant both technically as an individual, and as an active member in a diverse and challenging cross-functional team environment. RESPONSIBILITIES l Develop and apply advanced methodologies with smart analysis techniques to drive innovation into Tesla products. l Perform analyses for feasibility of manufacturing, assembly, and service processes. (Static load simulation and DOE) l Perform analysis for thermal dissipation effectiveness. (Thermal simulation and TTI measurement) l Perform strength and fatigue analysis of power electronics products. (Reliability requirement derivation and fatigue simulation) l Support world-class engineering teams with design direction based on your analyses and engineering judgement. l Lead problem solving for testing/manufacturing findings. REQUIREMENTS. • Bachelor's degree from Engineering department is required. Master's or PhD’s degree is preferred. • Theoretical knowledge of finite element analysis. • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated successful experience as CAE engineer in the automotive sector. • Excellent applied software experience in ABAQUS. Ansys, Icepak,LS-DYNA or Adams expertise is a bonus. Pre- and post-processor experience in ANSA/Meta or HyperWorks is required. • Experience with either Design Life, or FE Safe fatigue software. Familiar with vibration-based fatigue analysis approach. • Ability to run Quasi Static, and dynamic strength analysis of structures using explicit solvers will be viewed highly favorably. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others on problems that are unusual or difficult. • Demonstrated ability to deconstruct complex test scenarios with good logic and analysis, root-causing and resolving correlation issues. • Demonstrated ability in iterative and collaborative automotive engineering environments – success in roles requiring high levels of technical communication and interpretation of analytical results to Design Engineers and Technical Management. • English speaking proficiency. 负责电驱车间电机产品自动化产线的规划和设计,以及产线的工装夹具设计,开发和优化。与特斯拉的内部产品设计、生产、控制、安全、质量和制造工程团队密切合作,并与产线设备供应商协调跨职能设计活动,开发相应的产线自动化设备以及工装夹具,并将生产线最终交付给运营部门,使其符合最高的安全、质量和产量标准。 职责描述: 开发制造方法并指定产线制造所需的设备,包括以下过程:装配、视觉检测和尺寸测量、工件输送和机器人搬运,自动化立库; 以及拧紧、压装、气密、电性能测试。 开发从概念到生产的新型高度自动化生产线;优化产品流和生产线效率,同时减少资本支出和交付周期。 针对具体应用进行设备整体结构以及工装夹具提出设计思路,对于特殊工装具备自主设计和出图的能力。 熟悉掌握相关图纸要求,结合供应商实例和规范要求,开发相应的图纸审核清单。 能够运用有限元CAE软件进行机械设计方案的分析优化工作。 定制设备规格和标准,管理生产线的安装、调试和爬产。 开发新产品的工艺流程、故障模式影响分析和检验方法。 识别并推动持续改进和成本降低计划。 与电驱总成工程设计团队合作,为特斯拉未来的产品提出解决方案。 通过定义、管理和执行项目时间表来推动卓越的项目执行,以确保通过主动的项目管理按时交付 。 遵守公司规章制度,严格按照作业指导书工作,积极查找安全隐患,及时汇报安全隐患和事故,提出安全合理化建议,通过不断改进,创造安全健康的工作环境
1. 负责电机控制器机械开发工作,精通至少一款3D设计软件(CATIA优先,UG等); 2. 负责电机控制器整体结构方案构建,以及壳体,水冷板,滤波器,连接器等零件设计; 3. 负责编制BOM清单,DFMEA、特殊特性清单、设计规范、测试规范等技术文件; 4. 负责跟踪新产品工艺验证、样机试制、DV试验测试,并参与解决过程问题; 5. 参与电机控制器核心零部件如IGBT,电容器,电流传感器等选型及设计工作; 6. 负责供应商技术交流与技术评审,跟进供应商开模,完成零部件技术认可; 7. 负责竞品分析工作,研究前沿技术,并能够应用到新产品开发设计中。
1. 分析电控系统需求并接口硬件、系统等职能完成需求分析与确认; 2. 负责电控整机集成设计、关键组件设计,高压安全设计(电气绝缘与爬电距离等); 3. 可组织/指导零部件工程师按流程开展设计评审与迭代,并统筹关联问题解决; 4. 负责电控冷却水道、密封类方案与结构设计; 5. 负责零件详细数模设计和图纸、订货规范、客户技术资料等文档的编撰、审核和发布; 6. 负责供应商技术交流与供应商技术评审,并跟进供应商后续开模和技术认可; 7. 协调组织零部件的加工、样品装配、样品试验等; 8. 电控总成和零部件的试验验证计划的制定与试验过程中技术支持; 9. 关键前瞻技术感知与预研,并可支撑后续工业化落地评估。
