5+ years of job experience.AS or BS degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent.
2-3+ years of proven electrical panel design, wiring diagrams, harness design/layout, off the shelf part specifying and integration, etc.
Understanding of Component selection, power budgeting, power dissipation, thermal management, etc.
Experience designing and working with digital communication buses (CAN, Ethernet, RS-485, USB, SPI, I2C, etc.).
Understanding of key analog components such as MOSFETs, op-amps, switching regulators, gate drivers, etc.
Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, signal generators, etc.).
Rapidly iterate tool designs as architecture evolves.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, ability to change direction quickly.

Preferred Skills:
Embedded integration and programming of DSPs, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices.
Basic understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
Experience bringing products to market in different regions of the world.
Experience with battery technology.
Experience shipping high-volume circuit boards.
