The Role
Tesla’s Chassis Controls team is seeking a Software Integration Intern to join our team of systems experts. In this role, you will assist in the design, implementation, and validation of new chassis control software features (e.g., autonomous driving/braking), ensuring they meet Tesla’s high standards for safety and customer experience.

As an intern, you will gain a deep understanding of software-hardware dependencies and learn how to communicate technical constraints and risks to guide vehicle programs. You will apply systems engineering principles under the guidance of senior engineers to support safety-critical software development. Depending on the project needs, you may wear multiple hats, ranging from fleet data analysis to hands-on coding and prototyping.
