THE ROLE Tesla is seeking an intern within the Infotainment Team who has knowledge of design, test audio products, specifically speakers, microphones, and amplifiers. This intern should understand the design and application of these components within an audio system. You will be expected to challenge and to be challenged, to create, and to innovate. RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the product testing and development of speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and other audio system products. • Gain a knowledge of our components and audio systems, relative to a vehicle environment and integration. • Perform simulations of these acoustic components, systems, and environments. • Work with cross functional teams to create and/or maintain best in class products. • Troubleshoot, root cause and provide solutions to component and system level failures.

Facebook Group Management: - Own the day-to-day operations and growth strategy of Facebook user group. - Moderate discussions, support members, and cultivate a safe and welcoming space. 2. Community Strategy Development: - Design and execute community growth and engagement plans aligned with brand priorities and product timelines. - Define KPIs and report on key community health metrics. 3. User Engagement & Relationship Building: - Actively respond to comments, messages, and posts with warmth, professionalism, and product knowledge. - Identify and nurture power users, ambassadors, and advocates. 4. Insights & Feedback Loop: - Be the voice of the community internally. Gather insights, flag emerging trends, and collaborate with product, content, and customer service teams to improve user experience. 5. THE ROLE Tesla's Software Platforms team provides the foundation on which the in-vehicle user experience is built. We build the software platform (kernel, bootchain, drivers, and lower level userspace platform services) for our innovative Infotainment hardware. This includes high resolution touch displays, high definition audio, bluetooth/wifi/cellular connectivity, USB, cameras, all connected to high performance multi-core processors and GPUs. Our software is based on Linux, GNU toolchain, buildroot, and other open source projects, delivering the security, capability, and performance demanded by our user experience RESPONSIBILITIES • Write well structured, testable, efficient, and maintainable code • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system • Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics • Use existing available hardware in innovative ways to solve problems • Board bringup and hardware design validation • Deploy software incrementally to meet very fast paced development • Develop software tests and continuous integration for your code • Support factory provisioning, test, and improvements • Assess and document new product feasibility
Logistics Specialists receive parts, maintain inventory, transfer and return parts as needed for Technicians in multiple data centers. This role manages the storage, and ensures a safe and neat workplace . Duties include but not limited to: - Receiving, stowing and picking, packaging and shipping, sorting and counting of computer hardware parts physically and logically. - Working on part request from Technicians and reviewing inventory availability. - Monitor Logistics dashboards and request for actions to ensure that the InfraOps meet the KPI target. - Balance the inventory within the cluster and region when needed - Coordinate with procurement and vendor to schedule part delivery. Track and update shipment status and manage the delivery issues with transportation vendors - Storage facility management and administration. Cycle count, daily audit, 7S etc. - Complying with inventory process in part handling activities for instance parts quarantine, media parts, critical parts control. - Participation in continuous improvement initiatives in addition to day-to-day inventory requests. - Process RMA to vendors and scrap parts A day in the life Working hours from 9:00-18:00 on Monday to Friday business days.
: - Work with software and science teams to create data collection plans and test cases. - Running test cases on devices – such as executing use case scenario based testing - Write, read, run, and develop test scripts in collaboration with developer teams in Python. - Execute test cases, interpret, and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process - Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution. Able to debug and restore data collection systems. - Support projects including setup and verification of all system components, trouble-shooting during set-up and live sessions, and ensure integrity and upload, metrics reporting tasks and processes, and document best practices - Provide technical support to the field operation or vendor teams - Apply knowledge of wireless and networking technologies, mobile devices, and quality assurance practices to ensure that connected devices meet all target requirements - Gaining knowledge of the features and detailed functional requirements to execute your assigned tests - Work onsite 5 days per week - Lift up to 25lbs when needed - Effective written communicator, this role will include working with international teams.
