Alibaba.com is the original business of Alibaba Group, launched in 1999, and we’re focused on continuously improving it to better serve our global customers.  As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be responsible for creating, driving, and implementing research plans to discover actionable insights for creating the user experience for web-based applications and mobile devices. You will deliver the right user insights at the right time, helping project team to create digital products that are good for users and good for business. You will use your deep understanding of the methods and best practices of user research to experiment with mixed methods research to generate unique user insights and drive product innovation. You will mentor junior team mates to deliver high-quality outputs while working effectively on managing stakeholders, overlapping projects, and competing priorities. Responsibilities: • Drive ideas to improve products and services through research-driven insights and recommendations. • Independently design and execute research studies with effective research methods (e.g., desk research, interviews, focus groups, usability testing, surveys, competitive analysis, etc.), representative participant profiles, and efficient recruiting strategies. • Proactively review and perform data analysis to extract insights and actionable recommendations from qualitative or quantitative data, and collaborate with teams to translate insights into product and business impact. • Present your work at research critique sessions to collect constructive feedback from the team and leadership. • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout the research, design, and product development processes. • Organize post-mortem reviews of your projects with collaborating teams, reflect on outcomes, and proactively suggest improvements. • Through knowledge sharing, leading by example, and constant learning, contribute to the team’s professional growth and development. • Constantly learn and implement AI in the workflow to enhance research efficiency, and proactively identify and suggest new tools for the team. • Effectively identify and implement new ways to conduct research, grow the team’s influence, and create impact.

Product Testing, Procurement, and System Integration Validate local products based on headquarters' architecture standards and execute procurement and device purchases. Collaborate with headquarters and local service providers for the purchase, installation, configuration, and upgrade of network equipment and low-voltage systems. Manage system integration projects to ensure solutions align with headquarters' technical requirements and optimize execution according to local needs. IT Infrastructure and Network Management Develop and implement localized IT solutions, ensuring maintenance and operations align with headquarters standards. Monitor office network quality using headquarters' tools, gather user feedback, and implement improvements. Track, manage, and inventory local IT infrastructure resources, resolve application issues, and ensure infrastructure integrity. Service Management and Coordination Manage onsite services including desktop operations, IT asset management, and maintenance of public IT services. Coordinate local service provider resources for rapid problem resolution and efficient use of personnel and equipment. Manage service SLAs, track performance, drive improvement projects, and ensure delivery quality. Standard Procedures, Reporting, and Team Management Provide standard operating procedures and documentation support, regularly report progress on localized solutions to headquarters. Understand onsite service needs through employee interviews and ticket analysis, continuously improve IT service and product experiences. Manage service providers and team members, including workforce planning, recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and personnel development.

Based on architecture standards set by the headquarters IT architecture team, test and validate local products, drive procurement execution, and complete device purchases. Collaborate with the headquarters IT architecture team and local service providers to complete the purchases, installation, configuration, and upgrade of network equipment and low-voltage systems (e.g. CCTV, access control systems, racks, and cabling). Manage local system integration projects to ensure effective implementation of solutions as guided by headquarters' technical requirements, while optimizing execution according to local needs. Develop and implement localized IT solutions. Ensure IT infrastructure maintenance and operations align with headquarters standards. Monitor the quality of office network using tools provided by headquarters IT, gather user feedback, and design and implement corresponding improvements. Track, manage, and Inventory local IT infrastructure resources (including equipment inventories and supplier collaboration) and resolve local application and service issues, and ensure the integrity of IT infrastructure. Coordinate local service provider resources to ensure rapid problem resolution and efficient use of personnel, equipment, and time to meet project needs effectively. Provide standard operating procedures and documentation support, regularly reporting progress on localized solutions to headquarters.
