Team and Role Introduction As part of the Group User and Platform Operation Center, the candidate serves as a strategic partner and advisor to the user and platform ops leadership team, ensuring that operational initiatives align with the company's goals. The scope will involve managing cross-functional projects, streamlining processes, and facilitating communication between departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities: • Strategic Planning: assist in the development and execution of group user and platform product and operations strategy, aligning it with overall company objectives. Partner with respective functional leaders to design, execute and track department-wise OKRs to ensure seamless execution • Project management: assist in the planning and management of cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and align with business objectives. Support the development of project plans and status reports for ongoing initiatives. Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders while collaborating with team members to drive project success. • Operational Excellence: identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency across User and Platform Ops functions. Collaborate with functional leaders to implement best practices and streamline workflows • Communication and Collaboration: act as a liaison between User and Platform Operation Center and other departments to ensure alignment and address any operational challenges. Organize and facilitate meetings, preparing agendas and documentation as necessary • Analytics and Reporting: analyze performance metrics and generate reports, offering insights and recommendations to enhance operations and drive revenue growth

Reporting to the Country CPO (Chief People Officer), this role will work closely with business leaders to provide thoughtful and relevant solutions based on a deep understanding of the market, business and HR methodology, to shape business transformation, build organizational capability, leadership strength and a performance culture. Key tasks and responsibilities • Understand Lazada’s business and build strong relationships with stakeholders to co-create our talent strategy and implementation plan, and to ensure these are aligned with business priorities. • Act as a thought partner to the business in solving talent problems and identifying their root causes. Design and implement solutions to address these, collaborating with cross functional teams and supporting the talent agenda and needs of the organization. • Drive organization and people-related programs – new hire journey, leadership development, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, learning and development initiatives, among others. • Leverage and balance qualitative and quantitative data to support decisions and drive programs to improve overall organization health and sustainability. • Advocate and be a role model of our company culture, driving initiatives improve the overall employee experience and to build and strengthen our desired culture.
Overall Responsibilities - Work together with various business teams to plan for and execute both corporate, consumer-facing and seller-targeted communication activations, to effectively deliver on the objectives above. - Develop strategic narratives and provide insights that appeal to media, thought leaders and consumers. This includes developing messaging for Lazada’s technology, products and initiatives. - Strategize thought leadership content and plan industry speaking opportunities for our executives - Strong existing relationship with all key media in the market, can pitch and navigate independently. Handle media queries and interviews with a strategic approach - Work closely with the rest of Lazada’s communications team across the region, support regional projects when needed - Provide issues management and crisis communications counsel to mitigate negative coverage or mentions of the company
As the Vice President, Commercial Category Manager (General Merchandise), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Lazada’s General Merchandise category across Southeast Asia. Your leadership will directly impact Lazada’s ability to attract top brands, acquire loyal customers, and achieve sustainable growth in one of the fastest-growing e-commerce regions globally. Key Responsibilities Category P&L Ownership & Growth Metrics: • Own and manage the P&L and growth metrics for the General Merchandise category across Lazada’s six markets (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam). • Oversee annual budget allocation and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded. Category Strategy Development & Execution • Identify new opportunities, adapt global trends to regional markets, and align initiatives with Lazada’s goals. • Leverage historical data and market insights to inform decisions and improve customer experience. • Curate a product offering that aligns with customer profiles, positioning Lazada as the top destination for General Merchandise. • Share best practices and foster collaboration within the regional team to maximize efficiency. Seller Acquisition & Brand Development • Develop strategies to onboard high-quality sellers and brands. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key local and international sellers to secure optimal terms and quality. • Drive brand development and acquisition efforts to strengthen Lazada’s market position. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment • Lead and motivate the on-ground teams by setting clear deliverables, targets, and expectations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, user growth, etc.) to ensure seamless strategy execution. • Align commercial, marketing, retail, and logistics functions to deliver exceptional service to customers. • Coach and develop a team of cluster leads and account managers, ensuring they are skilled, motivated, and aligned with business objectives.
