In Lazada, we believe that people and organizational strategy is as critical as business strategy to drive Lazada’s growth and impact in the Philippines. We are looking for a Talent Development Manager to collaborate with our business leaders to solve business and organizational challenges through people-related solutions. Reporting to the Country CPO (Chief People Officer), this role will work closely with business leaders to provide thoughtful and relevant solutions based on a deep understanding of the market, business and HR methodology, to shape business transformation, build organizational capability, leadership strength and a performance culture. Key tasks and responsibilities • Understand Lazada’s business and build strong relationships with stakeholders to co-create our talent strategy and implementation plan, and to ensure these are aligned with business priorities. • Act as a thought partner to the business in solving talent problems and identifying their root causes. Design and implement solutions to address these, collaborating with cross functional teams and supporting the talent agenda and needs of the organization. • Drive organization and people-related programs – new hire journey, leadership development, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, learning and development initiatives, among others. • Leverage and balance qualitative and quantitative data to support decisions and drive programs to improve overall organization health and sustainability. • Advocate and be a role model of our company culture, driving initiatives improve the overall employee experience and to build and strengthen our desired culture.
Team and Role Introduction As part of the Group User and Platform Operation Center, the candidate serves as a strategic partner and advisor to the user and platform ops leadership team, ensuring that operational initiatives align with the company's goals. The scope will involve managing cross-functional projects, streamlining processes, and facilitating communication between departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities: • Strategic Planning: assist in the development and execution of group user and platform product and operations strategy, aligning it with overall company objectives. Partner with respective functional leaders to design, execute and track department-wise OKRs to ensure seamless execution • Project management: assist in the planning and management of cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and align with business objectives. Support the development of project plans and status reports for ongoing initiatives. Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders while collaborating with team members to drive project success. • Operational Excellence: identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency across User and Platform Ops functions. Collaborate with functional leaders to implement best practices and streamline workflows • Communication and Collaboration: act as a liaison between User and Platform Operation Center and other departments to ensure alignment and address any operational challenges. Organize and facilitate meetings, preparing agendas and documentation as necessary • Analytics and Reporting: analyze performance metrics and generate reports, offering insights and recommendations to enhance operations and drive revenue growth
1. General (1)Articulate value propositions for key Ant Digital Technologies products and services; (2)Demonstrate expertise to accelerate Ant Technologies’ Tech adoption; (3)Drive innovation with a focus on industry solutions and customer outcomes; (4)Ensure solutions align with architectural goals for clear development and operational guides; (5)Identify and mitigate business and technical risks; (6)Provide support during deployment to prevent or resolve technical issues; (7)Collaborate with customer teams, including C-level executives, to align vision with solutions; (8)Offer technical guidance in the pre-sales process. 2. Project Management (1)Orchestrates and oversees a broad range of project metrics on large, complex projects with high visibility (e.g., Vice President-level) through others. Proactively ensures adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) and provides strategic direction to drive success and adapts to high-impact changes throughout project lifecycle; (2)Proactively manages risks and issues within and across large, complex projects leveraging previous experience and subject matter expertise to make sure project completion on cost, on schedule and on scope. 3. Technical Delivery (1)Responsible for the delivery of the products/solutions related to the cloud native, Android/IOS mobile, blockchain, security etc. in ANT Digital Technology BU, including the building of delivery standards, specification, processes, and platform capabilities; (2)Drive project implementation from blueprint planning, requirement analysis, business and technical architecture design, system coding and testing, and deployment, control the delivery quality and plan from both business and technical perspective; (3)Accumulate best practices of product and solutions through project deliveries and contribute to the improvement of product core competitiveness; (4)Continuously build and optimize delivery technical systems and tools, and have a deep understanding and practice in achieving scalable delivery; (5)Understand and have insight into industry trends, focus on the integration of business and products/solutions during the delivery, achieve the implementation of the business scenarios, and ultimately to help customer to achieve business success.
• Lead the Government Affairs function of Lazada Vietnam; • Monitor policies, administrative and/or legislative developments, evaluate potential impact of legislative, administrative, and other proposals that may affect Lazada, and coordinate with related functional teams for internal alignment on next steps • Research and develop (in collaboration with Legal and functional teams as appropriate) position papers, talking points to convey the company’s messages to relevant government stakeholders • Lead/support the development of profile building initiatives and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the implementation • Lead the arrangement of workshops and/or meetings between Lazada and government stakeholders (e.g. meeting setup, talking point / presentation development, minutes taking as needed, etc.) • Support the government affairs work of the Alibaba Group as needed • Other assignments as requested by the Executive Vice President and Group Head of Government Affairs
