The role
• Siemens builds the systems the physical world runs on: factories, power grids, buildings, trains, hospitals. Industrial and physical AI is a major opportunity in applied AI, and one of the harder ones to get right. There is a generation of AI-powered products to build.
• We are forming a product organization in China to build them. As Senior Principal Product Manager, you decide what gets built, for whom, and why it wins. You take it from idea to a real business.
• This is a senior individual contributor role. We want someone who creates product categories, not someone who manages an inherited roadmap.


What you own
• You own the product. You decide what gets built and why, you validate it with customers, and you own the business case. The pod is built around your product judgment.


Day to day, you will:
• Find the customer and market problems worth solving in industrial and physical AI, and turn them into product propositions that hold up commercially.
• Define the product strategy, the target customer, and the path to revenue.
• Run customer discovery directly with industrial buyers in China and globally: design partners, pilots, paying customers.
• Turn ambiguous technical problems into clear product bets with explicit hypotheses, success metrics, and kill criteria.
• Make scope and sequencing tradeoffs across the lifecycle, from 0 to 1 MVP through launch and scale.
