• Responsible for in-game event experience through close collaboration with VAL regional and global team, and local publishers. • Responsible for in-game asset resource management. Design and run a healthy and sustainable asset distribution program to effectively control the in-game and out-of-game asset usage. • Identify local key publishing moments to deliver various in-game and out-of-game events and rewards contents. Leverage moments and thematic contents to drive gaming activity growth and player sentiments. • Work closely with the monetization, product and insights team in applying quantitative/qualitative research methods, generating local player research reports, and forecasting future business performance. • Provide timely business insights and performance updates to China and global leadership.
• Demonstrate and support craft excellence on in-game and out-of-game marketing content across strategy, creative, art, writing, video and audio. • Guide workstreams and help uphold the bar for creative craft excellence within Riot, local publishing partners and in vendor partnerships. • Strong eye for creative quality with experience in guiding asset reviews, offering actionable feedback, and elevating work to meet evolving creative and platform best practices. • Partner across multi-team and disciplinary, publishing, dev, consumer product, global and regional partners, including external partners — to align and elevate creative execution. • Collaborate with product manager, brand manager, creative directors, writers, art directors, producers, editors, directors, artists, and more to deliver creative that surprises and delights our players. • Effectively balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, with a focus on aligning with teams to achieve creative excellence — even as expectations and standards vary. • You will work with our VALORANT MOBILE leadership team to ensure timely resolution of needs and advocate for opportunities. • Hold us accountable to be true partners to the other studio pillars, external vendors, regional hubs and regional vendors. • Innovate in the space of creative marketing and storytelling. • Be an active participant in the creative director discipline to ensure global creative quality bar is met and developed.
Responsibilities: 1. Planning and execution of the match day tournament flow and coordinate with all departments to ensure the smoothness of the event. 2. Be responsible for the testing and management of the tournament device throughout the season to ensure the requirement of tournaments and sponsors for devices are well accommodated. 3. Be responsible for the standard formulation and training of referees by coordinating with vendor. 4. Be responsible for the formulation of the SOPs for on-ground operation for learning and improvement. 5. Be responsible for the formulation, revision and enhancement of the tournament rulebook based on the requirement of the product, teams, players, and related stakeholders. 6. Be responsible for the formulation of esports calendar and tournament match-ups and coordinate with stakeholders from both internal and external to deconflict. 7. Be responsible for the formulation, revision and enhancement of the tournament format and bracket. 8. Execution of the roster lock throughout the season, including submission collection, application review, and data collection. Ensure all registrations, transfers, changes of rosters follow the league's requirement. 9. Execution of the prize pool setting, calculation and distribution for MPL MY and MAL MY. 10. Be responsible for the planning and hosting of the manager meeting with MPL and MAL teams throughout the season. 11. Be responsible for handling the request between teams and the league. Ensure the requests are precisely delivered and end results are well achieved from both ends. 12. Be responsible for the planning and execution of the teams' hospitality throughout the season. 13. Overview: We're looking for an experienced and highly organized Esports Operations Manager to lead the seamless execution of our league operations, tournament management, team and player coordination, community engagement, and third-party tournament partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of the esports ecosystem and the ability to manage multiple complex moving parts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: League Operations - Craft and manage comprehensive match schedules, league formats, and operational timelines. - Ensure strict adherence to league rules and competitive integrity across all participants. - Oversee game data tracking, results processing, and rule enforcement. On-Ground Operations - Plan and execute the entire match day tournament flow, coordinating with all departments for a smooth event. - Manage and test tournament devices throughout the season to meet tournament and sponsor requirements. - Develop and implement referee standards and training programs in coordination with vendors. - Formulate and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for on-ground operations to drive continuous learning and improvement. Tournament Operations - Develop, revise, and enhance tournament rulebooks based on product, team, player, and stakeholder requirements. - Create and deconflict the esports calendar and tournament match-ups by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. - Formulate, revise, and enhance tournament formats and brackets. - Execute roster lock procedures throughout the season, including submission collection, application review, and data management, ensuring compliance with league requirements for registrations, transfers, and roster changes. - Manage prize pool setting, calculation, and distribution for MPL ID and MDL ID. - Coordinate with broadcast, production, and marketing teams for comprehensive tournament coverage. - Handle all logistics, including match flow, registration, seeding, and results processing. - Plan and execute both online and offline tournaments. Team & Player Management - Plan and host regular manager meetings with MPL and MDL teams throughout the season. - Act as the primary liaison, effectively handling and delivering requests between teams and the league to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. - Plan and execute comprehensive team hospitality throughout the season. - Monitor, collect, and analyze relevant news and information about gaming and esports in the Philippine market. - Plan and execute initiatives for teams' performance enhancement, including data service, new player scouting, and coach training. - Manage all female MLBB teams within the Philippine market in collaboration with official female esports partners. - Plan and execute player hospitality initiatives throughout the season (e.g., birthdays). - Plan and execute programs for player education, cultivation, and development. - Provide operational support to ensure teams comply with tournament and league requirements. - Monitor team needs and escalate concerns to relevant departments as required.
