• Partner with TFT dev team and Tencent product team to organize their efforts - accounting for delivery timelines, ensure product quality, revenue impacts, and opportunity costs • Support TFT China operations by helping develop publishing plans, player journey improvements, engagement initiatives, and operational opportunities. • Support TFT franchise esports strategy by identifying opportunities to strengthen player participation, viewership, and publishing integration. • Build, report, and maintain business health metrics across engagement, monetization, player sentiment, and market performance. • Conduct market analysis, business projections, impact assessments, and opportunity evaluations to support decision making. • Present business insights, product outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders across Riot, Tencent, and partner teams. • Explore new around-game product opportunities, publishing experiences, and monetization strategies that enhance the local player experience.
Responsibilities: Brand Strategy Support • Lead the development of localized brand strategies by providing input and coordinating with Riot and Tencent stakeholders • Help review Tencent campaign plans and creative work, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and Riot’s values • Assist in the documentation and communication of brand narratives and publishing plans for internal and external stakeholders Publishing Collaboration • Serve as a point of contact for Tencent’s publishing and marketing teams, offering feedback and support during campaign planning and execution • Coordinate with Riot global teams (product, creative, publishing) to communicate China-specific priorities and requests • Support the preparation of strategic updates and campaign evaluations based on Tencent and market feedback Player and Market Insights • Gather and share insights on the Chinese TFT player communities, including preferences, cultural context, and engagement trends • Collaborate with insights teams to support research initiatives and apply findings to publishing decisions • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to help inform brand adjustments Cross-functional Coordination • Work closely with Riot China and global publishing teams to align messaging and player-facing efforts • Ensure campaign materials and communications reflect consistent tone and positioning • Support initiatives that build long-term player trust and brand familiarity in China
• Market Ownership: Serve as the primary owner for a Supercell title's China business performance, balancing commercial success with long-term product health. Drive sustainable growth by optimizing key metrics (e.g. Retention, Engagement, Revenue etc.) while ensuring alignment with the game's core vision and player experience. Market Ownership • Cross-Team Interface: Act as the main liaison between Supercell’s Helsinki-based game team and the China Publishing Partner to ensure tight alignment on goals, roadmaps, and execution. Publishing Execution • Feedback Loop: Ensure Chinese player feedback and sentiment are gathered, analyzed, and integrated into product and content planning processes in Helsinki. • Responsible for in-game event experience through close collaboration with VAL regional and global team, and local publishers. • Responsible for in-game asset resource management. Design and run a healthy and sustainable asset distribution program to effectively control the in-game and out-of-game asset usage. • Identify local key publishing moments to deliver various in-game and out-of-game events and rewards contents. Leverage moments and thematic contents to drive gaming activity growth and player sentiments. • Work closely with the monetization, product and insights team in applying quantitative/qualitative research methods, generating local player research reports, and forecasting future business performance. • Provide timely business insights and performance updates to China and global leadership.
• Develop a deep understanding of player needs and behaviors to define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Moments and Gameplay Workstreams, achieving both player and business impact. • Translate product strategy into actionable plans and execution frameworks—setting clear goals, success metrics, and delivery milestones to ensure strategy is realized in live player experiences • Build and manage a high-performing team to drive player growth by developing core gameplay capabilities, including Summoner’s Rift and Rotating Game Modes. • Orchestrate across product owners and workstreams to deliver cohesive player high-impact login moments and engagement beats that maximize impact. • Partner with design, creative, production, insights, and publishing to create impactful features, fostering a learning-centric culture that reduces risk and improves decision-making over time. • Coach and mentor other Game PMs to strengthen product craft, decision-making, and player empathy across the team.
