Responsibilities: • Program & Technical Leadership: Lead the end-to-end technical execution of our largest, most complex broadcast programs (e.g., Valorant Champions, League of Legends World Championship). Program & Technical Leadership: • Contribution to Strategy: Partner with the Principal TPM to contribute to the multi-year technical roadmap by providing data-driven insights. Implement the global asset strategy for your events, determining the optimal mix of rented vs. owned equipment to meet event goals. Contribution to Strategy: • Contractor Team Management: Lead and manage the event-specific broadcast tech manager, utility contractor and vendor teams. Handle resource planning, task assignment, and performance management for your events, ensuring adherence to global standards. Contractor Team Management: • Vendor & Project Management: Manage day-to-day vendor relationships and delivery for your assigned events. Contribute to SOW creation and manage the event-level budget, ensuring events are delivered on time and on budget. Vendor & Project Management: • Operational Excellence: Serve as the direct point of accountability for the technical health and success of your events. Champion and implement broadcast technology excellence, monitoring, and continuous improvement within Esports Production Management. Operational Excellence: • Technology & Process Improvement: Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies within your projects. Recommend new solutions and process improvements based on project outcomes. Partner with Esports Event Technology (EET) on integration for broadcast engineering, systems, networking, and broadcast design. Technology & Process Improvement: • Mentorship & Stakeholder Management: Act as a technical mentor for tech managers and contractor and vendor leads. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively to all event stakeholders and management. Mentorship & Stakeholder Management:
• Program Leadership and Execution: Own the planning, development, and management of project schedules and deliverables. Ensure meticulous management of tasks, dependencies, and breakthroughs to achieve program objectives on schedule. • Design and Scope Management: Actively participate in crucial design reviews. Efficiently handle scope changes to minimize impacts on project timelines and outcomes. • Multi-functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison for the technical team in multi-functional discussions, ensuring alignment on project achievements and go-to-market strategies. • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and advance issues to leadership as vital. • Communication: Provide regular updates on program status, highlighting challenges and proposing solutions to internal partners, facilitating informed decision-making. • Continuous Improvement: Leverage insights and standard processes from completed programs to drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes for future projects. • Continually improve processes, optimize workflow, and maintain the highest quality levels.
• Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale testing and mass production of L2P/L2PP/Parking functions in JP/SK and EU. • Manage test schedules, oversee execution, and align with mass-production milestones. • Analyze test data, conduct issue triage and root-cause analysis, and determine software release readiness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve key issues and optimize test processes. • Track quality metrics, risks, and project progress to ensure on-time delivery of AD software. • Develop integrated test and launch plans and deliver clear progress reports. • Lead and mentor the test team to build capabilities in large-scale testing and project delivery.
• Ensure that operations in APAC meet desired performance metrics in the region • Serve as Live Operation’s primary representative • Coordinate with game publishing teams to ensure publishing efforts match product deliveries • Create program plans with cross functional teams such as creative, architecture, operations, technical teams, and leadership • Evangelize processes and delivery methodologies to ensure we accomplish our program goals • Facilitate and manage Agile project management ceremonies and processes for large or team-of-team project teams • Organize program-level planning, communication, and team member rituals • Manage risks and issues across programs and within teams • Foster transparency and predictability by building and maintaining roadmaps for assigned programs • Maintain partner relationships, providing visibility into workstreams and maintaining partner satisfaction • Collaborate with multiple operations’ leadership to ensure that our games operate at the same or better level of quality as other regions
